"The food here has amazing flavours that linger in your mouth a while later. The food was so beautifully presented and was so fresh. The best seafood and pork I have ever tasted. Erin the owner was so attentive and her staff and the Chefs...cook five star level. We will definitely tell all our friends from Central Coast to visit and enjoy. Such amazing views over the ocean at Blackmans Bay. We had squid as sweet and sour entree with cucumbers puckled and an amazing sauce. The mains were Asian Beef salad and Pork Belly with ginger and Mango Salad. So delicious. Keep up the good work Erin. Regards Brian and Rhonda Central Coast NSW"

"The menu choices are a bit limited (in other words, a bit fancy), but what you get is very nice. We had a table overlooking the beach, and it was just beautiful. The meals are a bit expensive to what Kingston Beach normally offers, but it is a bit more upper class, I suppose you could say. Wasn't happy with the beer choices. Not everyone is into craft beer. Just add normal Cascade Draught (on tap or in cans - I'm not fussy), and I would be there a lot more. All in all - an enjoyable night out."

"We used to live in Hobart & made a weekly visit to Blackmans Bay & have scallops, whiting & shoe string chips with chicken salt & a ginger beer at this establishment when friendly owners used to own it. We visited the Fish Bar today which is also an Indian Restaurant (mmm?). We ordered trevalla, chips & 6 scallops ($13.20) I confirmed that the scallops were small as I've noticed Hobart is lacking in small scallops & a ginger beer. $32.00 - for a takeaway. Okay just because we are only here once. When I went back in after 15 minutes to collect lunch, fish on top of chips (a bit dubious about type of fish I was given) 4 large scallops (ugh!) & standard size frozen budget chips with about 4 bits of salt. I did notice other customers wanted to order a curry but the guy behind the counter said the restaurant wasnt open. Others wanted to sit inside but that wasnt possible. I'm not sure about the positive reviews on the Fish Bar. Just dont eat here, its not worth being overcharged. BYO picnic at the beach across the road."

"Breakfast daily is just wonderful. Ordering the day before ensures you have the freshest food. Eggs Benedict, big breakfast, pancakes and Bircher muesli were all tried and thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee was difficult across Tassie, however Bruni’s Restaurant nailed it right every time. Seasonal menu kept...small in selections to ensure you get the very best produce and flavours that erupt in your mouth. We only managed dinner once in the restaurant as we’d made bookings with friends and this was our only disappointment. We’d liked to have eaten here every night if we could’ve. Presentation was really well done but the tastes were outstanding. Salt pepper squid entree followed by salmon for me and seafood chowder for her were the very best we’ve eaten. A big congratulations and thanks to the chef, who managed to turn out such great food moments, whilst his family home was under threat from the nearby bushfires. Service level from manager Lee and everyone of his staff was beyond our hopes and expectations. There have been many mixed reviews of Bruni’s Restaurant current team has had only the very best reviews and they’re well deserved. Highly recommend you take the opportunity to enjoy the experience Bruni’s Restaurant and Villa Howden offers. You’ll leave with a smile and many happy memories, just like we have."
