"We recommend that you book before you come to eat at Sardan for a lunch and do not plan a meal in the evening because you will not be hungry anymore. You get a more than complete menu including aperitif, wine, campagnard soup, entry, dish, homemade cheeses, desserts and coffee for an average of 26 to 30€. The dishes are delicious, homemade and served with a smile. The service is fast and the quality ratio is exceptional. By leaving you can go through the shop and buy foie gras or homemade jams. The frame is beautiful because we lunch under the trees in the countryside I recommend this restaurant without hesitation"

"Ate here one lunchtime after skiing all morning. The service is unbelievably slow and inattentive, and the fries were truly dreadful. Avoid if you can but it is the first place to eat off the slopes so is always very busy.."

"La Traversette is located at the bottom of the Fort piste close to the ski lift. There is a large south facing terrace with marvellous views on sunny days when the deck chairs are out for sun bathers. On bad weather days there is lots of room inside. Restuarant is self-service and there is always a wide choice of food, the tarteflette is always worth having. Good coffee, hot chocolate, beer and wine always available. Unlike a lot of mountain stops the toilets are immaculate. Well worth a stop at any time."
