"Great food, great prices! We stopped at Andaman while traveling through on I-5. We called ahead 20 minutes to put our order in, it was an easy detour from the freeway and our food was ready for us when we got there. The owner was super nice too!"

"Trying to be an upscale restaurant, but the main door is black on the side because it never gets wiped... Furniture feels like cheap IKEA furniture, the waitress is somehow oblivious but beautiful enough. The prices were high, but the quality was worth every penny, the food is amazing! I had the Mongolian grilled pig with smeared sweet potatoes, I forgot what my fist had I thought it was a grilled chicken with maish potatoes, but she also loved her dinner. The desert was so beautifully prepared, it felt a shame to eat it, but also not dissapoint! Our compliments to the cook(s), we will be back! In total there were $53.75 and it was for food alone (we did not get wine because my fiancé is pregnant)."

"We stayed at the Shasta Inn for two nights during our recent Northern California vacation. On arriving there was a friendly and fast check in, and service overall was quite friendly during our stay. The grounds are lovely, surrounded by huge trees that give it a forest like setting. Our room was small but attractive with tile floors and wood accents. There is an in house restaurant but it was closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays; however, a couple restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is located only a short drive away from the main city.Although these positives are in Shasta Inn's favor, a number of other things left us disappointed overall in our stay. None were major in and of themselves, but the accumulation was frustrating. Many were due to certain aspects of the room. The sink is in the bathroom itself, not outside of it, slowing down getting ready in the morning. There is no closet, a major frustration only a weird structure with two shelves and a metal pipe near the door. AND NO HANGERS to hang something on that pipe thing. So we ended up draping clothes that needed drying all over the place. What do skiers do in the winter when they return with sodden clothes and jackets? There are a number of drawers, so if you don't care about wrinkles/damp items and just need to fold your clothes you'll be ok. Otherwise maybe pack a few hangers!There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. However, the high, skinny table in the entryway is not well suited for eating in the room. And the two trashcans are perhaps the smallest we have ever seen in a hotel. I had to empty them myself a few times. In sympathy with the trash cans the coffee cups are also the tiniest ever seen, maybe 6 ounces? No Kleenex, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth, and 2 bath towels. We supplemented by corralling a maid to obtain more. Two USB ports were in the room, both inoperable. The HVAC fan was loud and would turn on/off throughout the night; I tried to keep the fan constant but that disables the heat and AC. Nighttime lighting is poor but the bed was comfortable.There is a free grab and go breakfast from 8 to 10 AM. It consist of a water bottle, a tiny yogurt, and two Quaker chocolate chip bars.This hotel is lovely and quaint, but overall it was not a comfortable visit for us."

"Food was good but i gave 3 stars because i just didnt feel welcomed. It was a slow day and i had asked to sit outside. The waitress bypassed a section outside that had people in it and took me around the corner where there was no one. Then after i finished my main course the waitress brought out my check without asking if i wanted anything else. They werent closing and were slow. I wont be back."

"I held a fast lunch and was really impressed by the amazing eating! all the ingredients were excellent quality and the worth was exceptional. I ordered the chicken bacon gunshots, the tears and bugging with kale, huh, bacon bits and a chipotle dressing. it was fantastic; the aromas melt together and create a really delicious meal. I was almost back and ordered something later! overall it is a nice restaurant location; a very small building with mostly outside seats, which is especially with beautiful weather, like the view of the city and shasta are great. the personal was welcoming and helpful and the service was very fast, I just waited a few minutes to be ready for my order. I can't wait until I look over again and try something else!"

"The ambience was extremely loud with dishes banging in the dining area and a family that let their children run around and had a sick child who coughed the entire time. When we asked what cooked vegetables they had, all they had was asparagus."

"Don’t let the bare bones appearance betray you, there is serious Thai food being served here. We are used to spicy food, so we ordered original Thai spiciness and it was excellent. The level of spiciness that amplifies the flavour of the ingredients. Highly recommended."
