"We visited here with friends and the food was absolutely lovely. The lady serving was showing us the food as it came out so we could see what they had on offer. The food was so nice! One of the best meals we've eaten for a while! The staff were so friendly and the view was amazing"

"As this place was on a direct line between where we were staying and the beach, it wasn't too hard to notice it and realise that it always seemed to be buzzing with customers. The menu looked long and I don't always take this as a good sign in a restaurant, but in fact it was quite cleverly constructed to offer a wide choice without overburdening the kitchen's resources. We turned up on a Sunday evening, having booked a couple of hours earlier, but despite the fact that the place was heaving, we didn't see anyone turned away during the course of the evening. Service was friendly but very professional, and as always it's a joy to watch a few staff handling a lot of covers (I didn't count them) so efficiently a rare site in the UK. We started with a shared platter of smoked fish, so nothing too demanding for the kitchen there. I'm still to be convinced that prawns actually benefit from being smoked, but all the other fish on the platter was delicious. As we hadn't had any this holiday, we both opted for moules frites (one mariniere, one a la creme) boring, I know, but we didn't regret it. They were deliciously fresh and cooked exactly right. The only problem we had was with the QUANTITY! If served moules at the same price in England, I'd expect to get about one third of the amount. Clare heroically nearly made it to the end of her mariniere, but with the handicap of the rich sauce I only got about two thirds of the way through. After that, dessert was a no no, which was a pity as they looked pretty spectacular. The restaurant definitely benefits from its site, overlooking a sandy cove and across the estuary mouth, but it's pleasing to find that they don't simply use this to get away with mediocrity, as so many places might."

"We are on this local side. in google maps it appears as bar (cocktail glass icon) and not as restaurant. we have eaten very well and enjoyed the beautiful view. it is very quiet and they can really enjoy it."

"Auf Empfehlung unseres Vermieters besuchten wir diese Location, eine einfache Terrasse, einer Austernzucht angeschlossen, sozusagen der Nebenerwerb des Austernzüchters. Wer nun denkt, dass es ein Stolz des Besitzers sein müsste, das Ambiente mit einer liebevollen Anrichte z.B. eines Plateau Fruits de Mer zu veredeln und der zweifellos vorhandenen Qualität der Meeresfrüchte auch eine angemessene Vielfalt zu Teil werden zu lassen der muss enttäuscht werden, ebenso wenn er ein angemessenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis erwartet. 70 Euro für eine Meeresfrüchteplatte mit nur 5 unterschiedlichen Krusten- und Schalentieren ohne Mayonnaise und Vinegraitte gereicht ist einfach zu wenig. Da kann die Aussicht noch so toll sein. Dann doch lieber 150 Meter weiter zum L'ecallier und für 2 Euro mehr ein komplettes Plateau. Schade"

"Shellfish, shellfish and more shellfish. Very good quality and very friendly service. Lots of atmosphere. Easy to park. If you like shellfish and oysters and Plateau de Fruits de Mer then they Oyster Shucker is the place to go. Apparently they have another restaurant in Paris too. English spoken."

"Very nice restaurant, service very good. Fish and seafood excellent. Only the seaspider plate was a bit too much covered by goose egg, a bit more seaspider and less egg would have been perfect. Location is perfect though"
