"This Tim's, the one near the Safeway and the one in Maple Ridge are all franchise owned by the same family. While they are a little exacting to work for (I have had 3 daughters working for them) they have good standards, fast service, and a flexible attitude with their workers as long as accountability is maintained. They hire workers with differing abilities which is rare these days...but it give young adults a place to start. You want good organizational skills, learn conflict resolution and team work...start at Tim's"

"This is a hidden gem in Pitt Meadows...there is a nice variety of Vietnamese noodles and sandwiches as well as that delicious coffee.For the price, you are getting a steal. I always felt that I had excellent value to my dollar, and one portion of pho normally feeds myself and my hubby. The egg rolls are delicious but what really makes it great is the pho. It's so good, like a warm hug on a cold day :) I highly recommend trying it out especially if you have not done so before."

"The location for dinner is practical for us, with a view of the golf course (except in winter) with consistently good eating. the last time we went, we had a steak and lobster special, which was not huge, but satisfying and favorable. The only problem...is that it is high-time receptions at the same place that are often loud, and since the restaurant is flat on an open mezzanine, they can be an intruder. Actually, I can't think of one time that there was not at least one and in which there were several receptions, so if they were looking for a quiet intimate evening dinner, this could not be the best choice. the service can also be a little hectic, possibly because the recordings are operated simultaneously. but despite these critics, we plan to return to future many paints."

"If you have never been to Blenz and you are in the mood for a cafe mocha made with real chocolate. You can choose from white, milk, dark chocolate and it is the best mocha, I have ever had. Their hot chocolate is to die...for as well as they use real chocolate in that too!"
