"Visited again April 7, 2013 for Sunday BrunchThe restaurant has improved their menu and choices include some interesting dishes. Breakfast dishes include waffles, eggs, beans, crisp bacon, sausages, and waffles, for breakfast lovers. The hot luncheon dishes include: Chicken, marinated mussels, fish, and yummy thinly sliced roasted potatoes. There is also a creamy soup and choice of breads. The salad bar includes tender Salmon fish, smoked salmon, Asian-dressed spinach salad, colourful roasted peppers & eggplant, avocado in a white creamy dressing (which kept on disappearing), as well as all the regular salads and trimmings, cold cuts etc.The nicest feature is the young man who prepares your pasta sauce as you wish it, and the pasta comes out great. At the same island with the Pasta making chef, there is Roast beef, done just right served with its sauce, and good horseradish. The desert table includes a few cheeses, mostly locally produced, fresh fruits blueberries, strawberries, fresh fruit salad, various pie style deserts baked on location, the Lemon-Cheese pie was good, and different kinds of mousse-type deserts. Coffee comes to the table often - service is very friendly and attentive. The new Executive Chef Pierre-André Cantin is gradually introducing new dishes and tastes, as well as locally grown and produced foods. The team is headed by the new Restaurant Manager Mario Gagné, who says that they are having fresh wind in their sails to bring back Chantecler to its fame of the past."

"We had seen in a guide to St Adele reference to this shop and the fact that they made chocolates on the premises, we decided to visit.It is a chocolate shop where they make their own chocolates and you can also buy coffee and cakes.Usually you will be able to see a video of the chocolate making process although at certain times of the day, the owner will actually be making the chocolates and will explain the processes that he uses.They also have a bed and breakfast but have no experience of this.The chocolates on display for purchase look very appetizing and the owners are very pleasant and interesting to talk toWell worth a visit."

"The only reason I 'm rating this restaurant and butcher shop 4 instead of 5 is because they only have French menus. Not sure if that changes during tourist season. My meal was excellent from a perfectly mixed negroni to inventive in house and local charcuterie to a light lobster linguine to an over the top Pouding Chomeur for dessert. Everything was local, felt very authentic...would be a shame for non French speaking diners to miss out simply because of a language gap. Also, great wine list, very friendly sommelier, staff and they, unprompted, offered to make burgers/grilled cheese or pasta for the kids."

"Had breakfast the two mornings I stayed at the spa. Both waitresses were very attentive and pleasant. They made the extra effort to speak to the English to the anglophone customers. Food was ok - perfectly cooked and presented. Coffee very hot fresh and plentiful."
