"We really enjoy the meal, but where we sat was a little dark and cold. but overall was very nice. wants more vegan options for those who have problems, and Vegetarian is not always a suitable alternative with allies to eggs and milk, for example. but overall would recommend, but prices make it a special accusation."

"Something must have happened to this one-time amazing restaurant. Our experience today was a shadow of our first visit eight months ago. To start, we waited 20 minutes until we realised nobody was going to give us any menus if we didn’t chase them. When our shared platter starter was served we weren’t given any plates or napkins but we survived. However, we almost died in trying to eat our main course, their “Signature Rib of Beef”. As the photo illustrates, the amount of fat and grease in the filets made it unbearable to chew, so we just managed to eat the chargrilled cabbage and bowl of mash for which we were still charged £30 (the “discounted” offer from the manager, from the original £70), even though we realised we were given the leftover of that dish. Unfortunately, the disappointment and ruining of a family day was too much for us to contemplate giving this lovely space another chance. The same thought must have occurred to a couple who left after waiting too long without without being served. A real shame for a restaurant with so much potential."

"Well the food when we got it was excellent. BUT there were 3 of us we ordered 2 starters (for me and 2 pizzas to come together. My starters arrived but no pizza. Having queried this we were informed that they had not been started. So a bit of a wait. No one came to clear. We were probably chatting for an hour. I went and asked whether we had to clear ourselves. Not sarcastically, I just wasn’t sure as orders were placed at the bar. So a bit of a wait. We decided to skip pud and ordered coffee. The bar man who had taken coffee order passed our table and asked whether we had had coffee he then went to check. 25 minutes later we got coffee! Although the food, as stated, was excellent the service was abysmal. Maybe eating in side where your order is taken is the way to go but for this (and it wasn’t the deciding factor to eat outside "

"Really nice staff, there were a few times when it's super busy and when it's quieter, eating was always nice, even the drinks are really nice, probably the best I had! everything really good with great staff and recently for my vegan friend as well."
