"I have given this place some sporadic visits in different years. They offer an interesting breakfast/brunch menu and for that reason I always thought that the staff problem would change throughout the years (specially since this is not an isolated impression, as its possible to...read in other comments). Not at all. This place has consistently the most obnoxious and unfriendly staff I have ever seen! You are welcomed with an annoyed face and don't you even think of making any questions. I was actually answered well, you can read it on the Menu All in all a very unpleasant experience, not worth for the quality and rather expensive prices. There are plenty of other places around there with awesome brunches and people willing to actually have a nice interaction with the clients who pay for their services."

"You have to say that the cafe has a very nice ambiente and is really always very well visited. the variety of chocolate products is of course huge and if you like chocolate it is difficult to resist the experiment. I also have to admit quite honestly that sometimes I chose the wrong product and was not satisfied with it, but you cannot like everything. again there were other delicacies that convinced me completely. you have to say that the prices are already very high, but you don't have to go there every day when the matching small money is missing. a visit is worth it anyway."

"We went for a cosy dinner on a sunday evening.The waiter was very friendly: As we were in a wine-region we wanted to have some local wine with our food but did not know which one to chose. He immediatly served us both some samples so we could make the right choice, even though he did not know we were going to be buy an entire bottle. Great start already!The starters (falafel with mango chutney and humus; farfalle with spring vegetables and fried shrimp) were very tasty, promising for the rest of the dinner.For main course we had pasta with mushrooms in a butter sauce; salmontrout with green vegetables and a chervil-puree. Again, this was very nice and very well accompanied by the white wine. The only complaint I can imigani was that the portion of puree was maybe a bit too much, certainly in a menu. But too much is not really a problem, is it?They have a beautiful bar, nicely decorated and giving the place a loungy look.We happily finished our bottle of wine and left as surprised, satisfied customers. Check was €71 for a bottle of white wine (€ 23) a starter + main course for 2 persons.If had stayed another night, we might have come back for the burger, which looked tempting :-)"

"My favourite brand in Trier (and possibly the world actually) for ice cream! It's sooooo yummy! Don't miss their special menu where you can order the likes of spaghetti bolognese (strawberry ice cream out trough a stringer quite funny Staff are always smiley and...friendly too I'm sure I would be too if I was surround by all that yumminess everyday!"
