"The first day I dropped in for a cup of coffee. Excellent! So I went back with a mate for breakfast day two.It was the absolute worst breakfast I have ever had put in front of me in my 73 years. I ordered poached eggs on toast with a side of bacon, my mate ordered a Spanish omelette. When the meals arrived, the omelette looked like flattened pancake and according to my friend 'awful'. My plate had two reasonably cooked eggs with a couple of slices of cheap wholemeal half cooked 'toast' slapped alongside. No bacon! I mentioned this to the waiter and he said he'd check. He came back and said 'we don't serve bacon with poached eggs' I replied, 'but I ordered it' he went away and I somewhat expected a side of bacon to arrive. We never saw him again! Apart from that, the service, presentation and quality was about as bad as you could expect. We won't be back and suggest you take this as a strong tip not to go."

"This restaurant is located in a beautiful position on the Marina. The ambience is very relaxing and staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the food was average have dined here before but found this time the meals were average pub standard and for the price I was expecting a bit more. Doubt I will return."

The water literally sparkles here whilst enjoying your meal and the service was delivered with a smile from the friendly staff. Afterwards, walk back to wherever you are going via beautiful Shelly Beach - you wouldn't even know there was a town on the foreshore!"

"We had been out on the Urangan Pier and looking for a late Lunch around 3:00pm. Being mid-week there was no crowd so most of the Cafes had shut by now. The owner of Simply Irresistible was also closing up but took pity on us and did a quick Fish & Chips wrapped in paper. While we were waiting we took advantage of the many historic photos of the Pier and surrounds framed on the café walls. Some of the photos were from the 19th Century. The shop owner had a wealth of stories to tell. She was born in the area and her family had run the shop for about 60 years. We enjoyed the Fish & chips in the park opposite."
