Great spot right on the beach overlooking Hervey Bay. Soak up the sun and watch the catamarans gently bobbing on anchor and majestically set sails and glide away on the gentle sea breezes floating up th Great Sandy Straight. Well, went for lunch today for the first time - a group of eight.Atmosphere, brilliant, food, lovely, staff, never seen a happier and more friendly group --- well done, keep it up ...The ONLY downside, and it is a bad one, is the waiting in line at the counter to be served ----- What a debacle to say the least. Perfect spot for brunch or a coffee with far reaching views of the Bay. The water literally sparkles here whilst enjoying your meal and the service was delivered with a smile from the friendly staff. Afterwards, walk back to wherever you are going via beautiful Shelly Beach - you wouldn't even know there was a town on the foreshore!
Went for Breakfast the morning after a 70th Birthday gathering...4 Grandparents, 2 parents and 2 grand children, so a large table.Great choice / reasonably priced menu.....welcoming staff got you settled in...place your orders at the counter and the are brought out for happy smiling staff (ours were)....Meals were a good size and delicious....coffees also worth a second cup.Unique setting right on the beach, so it was Breakfast with a view.Go back again...DEFINITELY ...would be a regular for sure if I was a local.
After taking a morning stroll along the beach we stopped for coffee. We had a great table looking out to the beach and the water. What a perfect day to sit and enjoy the lovely hot coffee and the scenery. Went back for a coffee on the day we had to return home - sadly.
