"Visited on Friday with a friend and my son . Restaurant was freezing cold, (waiter was walking around in a thick coat). They had one little blow heater at the front of the restaurant, where the waiters stood . It’s also like stepping into a big open canteen at school, needs a refurb. Food was so, so, but far too expensive. One to avoid."

"I have visited this venue twice since COVID reopening. The first time was in mid-July. I was informed by the door staff you had to be booked to a table there was one girl in front of me. After waiting 10 minutes the manager (or person in charge of booking in) arrived at the desk I had watched him walk aimlessly around the restaurant for ten minutes ignoring the people waiting. The person on arriving wandered off with the girl in front of me in the line. He did not return. After waiting 15 minutes, the door staff apoligised and suggested I take one of the empty tables outside. After waiting a further 10 minutes without sign of a waiter i left. Total time wasted 30 minuites. I visited the bar again on 18/08/20 at 8 pm. I went to the bar who explained it was waiter service only. I again sat at the outside tables where 5 tables were occupied. Between 8.00 pm and 8.15 pm not a single waiter appeared. One table gave up and left a second table were forced to walk to the bar to settle their bill. I then gave up and left. This bar has very poor service and no obvious management I strongly recommend avoiding this bar."

"Slow service. when we finally served and placed our order....the waitress came back with a drink and then on to tell us there were 0/5 of the red wee available on the menu. then when we ordered food: we ordered the days special (seafood paella) she came back to tell us that it was not available now. that should have been said when we were sitting. we left without eating and an expensive £5 soaking bill for 2 softdrinks that we didn't even want, as we couldn't eat what we wanted. poesie"

"Was there with my son on Friday, Feb 17th. He enjoyed his order. I enjoyed my starter, but my main was pretty awful! I ordered the 'Chicken Calabrese '..... the sauce was nice, with the diced potatoes, but it came with 2 large lumps of chicken just DUMPED on top of it! The chicken was like hard rubber in texture, and really hard to cut.... it just wasn 't good at all. Presentation left a lot to be desired too! The staff were pleasant enough, when they actually bothered to respond when I tried to get their attention to pay the bill. One waitress asked was everything OK, but she knew it wasn 't as those big lumps of chicken were left on my plate! So, that 's pretty much a routine question. I just paid and left. I won 't be in a hurry back."

"Visited for bottomless brunch in March on a busy Saturday afternoon. Ewan was brilliant from start to finish. Despite how busy it was he was very attentive and made sure we never had to wait long for drinks! He made sure we were kept topped up and definitely got our money's worth on cocktails!"
