"Great view, great service, food flavor, quality and portions get a C- .. no creativity, everything lacks taste, expensive for what you get. $22 for 6 pieces Watery cocktail shrimp (good jumbo size) with what tasted like can sauces. Grilled Octopus was chewing, unclean, and again no spices, was the whole taste of the olives in the plate. Squid Ink Pasta was overcooked to fall apart and so every piece of seafood was in it (again without season) and finally a perfectly boiled sea bass (best thing we ate) on a bed of tasteless water sauce and boiled clams. $195 with lace and a bottle of bubble water and 1 cuppacino. $10 for validated parking (not bad) and a nice hotel. Sorry, no pictures of the food, we just wanted to enjoy ourselves and starve enough to eat everything. Next time, only dessert and coffee will do with the view."

"Probably my favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Monica. The staffs and servers are so nice, they give off family feel. Food here is amazing! Their rigatoni bolognese is my favorite. Parking is a bit limited in all honesty. I live near by so I walk here but I've had friends who drove here and struggle for a spot. Probably recommend coming on weekdays over weekend for that matter."

"Lovely setting. We had a window table with gorgeous view of Santa Monica beach for a late Christmas brunch. Service was exceptionally slow. No one checked to refill water we had to flag someone for help. First course appetizers were served in about 30 minutes. Main entree finally arrived after one hour. One of our orders was completely wrong and when corrected, the meal had clearly been sitting under warming lights as the Hollandaise sauce had congealed on the eggs. We requested that entree be replaced with a freshly cooked one; the replacement was good. One side dish with the other entree was barely lukewarm and was replaced with a hot dish that seemed to have been microwaved. By this time our waiter realized that we had received poor service so he comp’ed our second bottle of water, offered complimentary coffee and brought an extra dessert. Nice try but did not make up for such poor service for a special Christmas outing. We were among the last seatings for brunch service so the dining room was not completely full when we arrived and had few tables occupied by the time we finished."
