"Found this place on Trip Advisor. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. It wasn’t very busy at the time. I was impressed straight away by the fact that as a Pub there was no stale beer smell! Kudos to whoever makes that happen!!! I ordered the traditional corned beef and cabbage and my husband ordered the potato soup and half ruben. He liked his very much. Mine was beyond awesome, in my humble opinion. Oh and it came with mashed potatoes, that needed nothing added. For lunch, it was a large portion and I’m a little gal who doesn’t eat a lot for lunch. Oh my goodness did I pig out. I couldn’t finish all of it but I sure put the hurt on it. When returning to see family up that way again we would not only return but encourage the whole family to join us."

"Go ahead and stop in. We almost missed it driving by, even with gps directions. Choosing out of hundreds of nearby restaurants during ISU move in day, we chose this and I’m glad we did. It’s a little pricey but the quality is great. Their wine list included some great choices. They do have small plates but that equals room for dessert so after we both had the gnocchi, we ordered a tiramisu. The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve had and is clearly made in house. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"We went here for dinner because of good reviews. We walked in and weren’t sure we were in the right place. There were two bar patrons sitting in the middle of the room, staring blankly at a blaring TV. We said hola to the man behind the bar and started to sit in a booth when I noticed the seat was covered with crumbs and bits of food. My husband had sat down so I dusted off the seat and sat down also. The table was also not clean. The man behind the bar came over and literally glared at us. We had not said a word. It was so strange. We asked for the wifi so we could access the full online menu (they had a QR code at the table. We ordered two glasses of local red wine. We looked at the menu. Everything was very overpriced. We wanted well-prepared authentic Spanish food that night but it’s just a bad sign when a restaurant is charging $19 for a hamburger. We asked a few questions. My husband speaks Spanish so we were making ourselves very clear. The man acted as if we were annoying him. Privately I told my husband I didn’t want to pay such high prices to eat at a filthy table listening the loud TV and having nothing but two vacant staring drinkers as the “ambiance.” He thought we should order, since we had been seated. We decided to order just a starter but when the bar man came over, he pretty much barked that the kitchen didn’t open until 8pm. Period. No alternatives. It was 7:55pm! He could have taken the order and we would have waited, but he wouldn’t. My husband told him (politely that we would just have the wine. He was visibly upset and stormed off. I was actually a little fearful when we went up to pay the bill. My husband saw that we had been overcharged for the wine, but he didn’t say anything, just paid it. When the bar man brought over the credit card machine, after my husband tapped his card, the man just slammed the machine down and walked away. My husband called after him, gracias senior! But he just kept walking. We are VERY polite and respectful people. We didn’t do or say anything to offend this man. I can’t speak to the taste of the food (because he wouldn’t let us order anything but there’s no way I would have enjoyed any meal in such an unfriendly and dirty place. I don’t know who is reviewing this place positively. Maybe the man we encountered has mood swings and is sometimes courteous and welcoming? Maybe he sometimes cleans the tables? Regardless, we will never return here. There is an awesome place just a few doors down with friendly welcoming service, excellent food and great prices. I will review the other restaurant if you’re interested."

"What a pleasant change of pace from your typical restaurant. When walking in, you are greeted by a boutique type shopping experience featuring candles, wall hangings, furniture, and other fun things. Most items give a vintage vibe. Mosey in further to find the dining area, which compliments the decor. Food was outstanding and reasonably prices. Staff was helpful in choosing your preference. Would highly recommend."
