"Worst experience! I visited this restaurant last night for my birthday. If you order food from the restaurant (not buffet), they serve the Food from the buffet trays. You 're better off paying almost the same money and just going to the buffet for the exact same food. Also, I was told that they close at 9pm. I said upon entering that we are okay with that as long as we still get to eat until 9pm. 8.40pm he said go get your last plate now. By 8.45 all the trays were empty and staff were ushering everyone out very rudely. The worst part of this experience... At approx 8.50-8.55pm, a waitress walked over and snatched the plate that I was literally eating from at that moment. I told her I still have food on my plate and she said you 're done . Then at exactly 9pm all the staff were already out of the club. Perhaps change your closing time to 8.40pm, then you have 20 minutes to clean up, or pay your workers until 9.15 so they 're not pushing to get everyone and themselves out of the door by 9pm. My parents and my partner were going to sign up to this club upon finishing our meal (club was too busy upon entering to sign new members up). Due to the poor service and lack of professionalism, you missed out on 3 memberships and we will not be returning here for our family outings. I was having a great birthday until this. I strongly advise not going to this restaurant, and perhaps visiting another buffet altogether."

"I found this place on zomato. the first sight of this place is very doggy. but went through the excellent review of the place. the place was packed on a Monday evening. even if the place was busy, the service was fast. the food was excellent. the service was a bit cold. but eating has formed for it."

"I love going to The Grandstand two or three times a week. It is definitely the best option for lunch and beers at Sydney Uni campus and the surrounding area. From the menu, I particularly enjoy the risottos, which always arrive yummy and perfectly al dente cooked. Everyday the chefs prepare a couple of specials, normally with a delicate touch of Asia, that surprise and make my afternoon happy.I have also used The Grandstand to work on my own,or have an informal meeting with muffins and perfectly brewed coffee."
