"The BEST gluten free chippy in chesterfield I've tried lots of gluten-free chip shops all over the country and this is in the the best behind papas in Cleethorpes and fish and chips at Bridlington I appreciate any establishment who make gluten free options but this is the best in chesterfield/Midlands The fish.. large cod the batter was golden brown and cooked to perfection not too crispy and not soggy just right .. the fish itself was nice and thick and was solid when under attack from a folk, it came apart in large chunks and didn't turn to a fish snow texture as cheaper cuts do when over cooked this fish was perfect and can't wait to try the haddock. The chips was cooked perfectly not soggy but not hard and was nice and fluffy we ordered large and couldn't finish them as the portion sizes are huge! The curry sauce a standard gluten free curry sauce that I see more chip shops are now using. Here is the difference some chippies are more water than powder and the viscosity is not correct where as this chip shop probably used more powder in the sauce so it was nice and thick and packed with flavour and was perfect... If you usually have normal curry sauce from chippies than try the gluten free version as my wife and I say it has allot more taste. The sausage was a standard chip shop sausage... Nothing wrong with it and was cooked perfectly We phoned before we went to make sure they did gluten free options and the staff was polite, professional and very knowledgeable The shop itself is very clean and has a star food hygiene rating... Another thing to note as someone with a food allergen when you walk in to an establishment and see the staff looking clean, presentable and hygienic gives you that bit more confidence that the food will be allergies free As a gluten free chippy I'd give this a sold out of I wouldn't change anything."

"Excellent food, service try their best but they're rushed off their feet. Too many guests and not enough staff. This resulted in slow service. Long waiting times for drinks for example. It was their busiest period (Saturday night). Also there's a really grating alarm that kept going off from the kitchen, surely there must be a better system than that? Nobody wants to go for a meal and be subjected to random alarms blaring out. This is my second review that has been downgraded from a 5 to a 4 for these issues. Again, top notch food"

"We visit Chesterfield at least 5 times a year and always visit Nonnas for an evening meal. As other reviewers have said it used to be a fantastic experience brilliant food and atmosphere. We visited this evening and the food was awful goats cheese fritters to start which were undercooked the cheese cold in the middle. We then had the chicken parmigiana which was dreadful overcooked, tasteless, tough and accompanied by an oversized and overpowering portion of fries. It lacked any flair, attention to detail and was just awful. There were approximately 5 cooks (definitely not chefs) visible in the open plan kitchen and would have thought they would have been embarrassed to serve such an awful meal. Needless to say we will never visit again"

"Restaurant rather bland but that made up for the quality of food. The pizzas were the best outside Italy. Absolutely perfect with choice of toppings. Linguini very tasty. Gave into temptation and had the tiramisu- best ever! Overall, fabulous and can’t wait to go back. Service excellent staff friendly"

"Beautiful little gem of a restaurant. Small so it's not over crowded and you can hear each other talk. Absolutely loved the choices on the buffet menu, me and my partner really enjoyed it. Loved how the portions weren't massive for us both so we were able to enjoy and try so many different things. Food always came out hot and the sushi was beautiful and tasted so fresh. Staff were very polite and accomadating. Only downside was that the servers were getting bombarded with delivery orders and phones calls due to mistakes with various delivery services, thus distracting from taking customers orders. Would definitely go again though."
