"Friendly, honest people, supplemented by food of the same genres. lean and I have been made to feel part of the family that is absorbed into the atmosphere. we were pleasantly surprised by the perfectly cooked eggs, as the taste was fantastic, we could only attribute this to them organic and free. as food we love this focus on quality taste instead of quantity. well made cassels sons and the great staff."

"It was thrilled to find that the whole food cooked in the deep frit is GF. These include a delicious selection of small plates, including Calamari, Chicken, Pilzarrancini, Kumara-Fries and Agria-Fries. Next time I will try one of the tasty looking salads to accompany the fried food. They also offer GF pizzas, but it was not completely clear whether these Coeliac were friendly. Explore this next time. The venue was very pleasant next to the Riverside Market."

"One of the most memorable steaks we’ve tried. We ordered a few dishes to share the Tomahawk, bone marrow and venison carpaccio, and a cheesecake for dessert. It was my first time trying bone marrow and I’m glad I did. It went very nice with the bread provided. The venison carpaccio was good as well, so was the dessert. What stood out for me was the Tomahawk. The steak was cooked medium rare. It had a nicely charred flavour on the outside, and tender on the inside. Would return if I’m ever in the area again. Chatted with the lady at the cashier and discovered that she’s visiting my home country in 2 weeks time. If she reads this “I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as I enjoyed my visit to the restaurant.” :"

"This had been my favorite food place in New Zealand so far. The waiter, Ben, was a really good sport and helped us pick out a delicious wine and food. He was a good time and made us feel right at home. The falafel and beet salad was so delicious, I definitely recommend."

"We chose this venue because of the quizz and the seafood chowder. The quizz master was lots of fun. Very welcoming and friendly. The seafood chowder was outstanding. The service could have been better as the staff were confused as to whether the chowder and toast were gluten free or not. Would definitely recommend it for a fun night out."

"Great pub, friendly staff and a lovey atmosphere. Only issue we had was paying a somewhat high price for a steak and having it arrive well overcooked on the one side when we asked for medium rare. Otherwise a very pleasant experience."

"14th Anniversary second visit and enjoyed our corner behind the glass with clear ray of winter sun. Shakshuka is good if you enjoy tomatoes you get more than plenty with this dish. Pea+Halloumi fritters is also nice. But the coffee is top notch really really good taste and good balance 3 years ago Food is delicious and I can see this place will be lovely during the warm summer nights. The portion could be a bit better for the price but the food is fresh and delicious"
