"Great location with plenty of parking. Friendly waitress and staff with excellent customer service. We ordered Spam Musubi, Chamorro Combo with white rice, and Chicken Katsu Curry. Everything was so fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Heart warming meals with plenty to go for warm ups. Looking forward to visiting on a Friday night live band."

"We had the street tacos combos and all of them were amazing (adobada, birria and fish). The birria had great flavor (reminded me of “carne mechada” dish from back home) and the fish had a perfect batter and fry. Meal came with a small caldo soup which was really delicious. My brother had a smoked tuna taco that he really liked it. Great margaritas too! Good price (never have had a three tacos for $5 that was so good) and friendly service. Highly recommend!"

"Went there over a week and a half ago with my wife to have dinner before the dinner rush started to arrive (5pm) and we were told it'd be a 20 minute wait. As we sat down to wait we clearly told the hostess if we were to sit in the bar area would we still be able to order and eat there...she said yes and then proceeded to remove us from the waiting list and we sat down. They proceeded to give us utensils and a menu, about two minutes later a waitress approached us and said that we cannot order food or eat in the bar area....she then commented that she couldn't help us as she was about to take her break! We asked for a manager and he apologized for the confusion and immediately set us up at a booth. We noticed that he pulled the host to the side and while he spoke to her about the situation he didn't seem to have been reprimanding the hostess in a bad manner. He then said that a waitress would come and take our order but instead took our order and would send a waitress to bring our order...the waitress approached us and literally slammed our drinks down...there was clearly a weird silence and then I said in a slow motion voice thank you..she then asked if we knew what we were ordering and we told her that the manager took our order already.. I looked at my wife and said did she slam our drinks down and we both came to the same conclusion.... She attended the other two adjacent booths and took their orders and behaved much nicer with them..as she walked away both my wife and I got up and left...F that...we've been eating here for decades now and have never been attended with this behavior before. On our way out we spoke to a different manager and explained our situation. She apologized for the waitress and we decided to just go to a different restaurant. Needless to say we still enjoy coming here but this time was definitely not a great experience. UPDATE: thank you management for personally contacting me about the situation."

"We are a group of Cable techs from AZ working in San Diego for about a month and this place became a almost daily lunch spot loved all the food I tried here especially (pulpo, everything! Waitresses were pleasant and friendly! Will miss it when I go home ."

"Me and my family just moved to the area and we found this restaurant near by the service was amazing we sat on the patio with a nice breeze and ambiance. The pizza taste authentic and with delicious ingredients. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone we know ! Big plus the manager on duty was super nice and offered complimentary dessert on the house ??"
