"Really nice fish and chip shop. Very friendly staff. Ordered flake, spring roll and one potato cake. In addition to what I ordered, I was provided an extra potato cake and a hand full of chips free. I love getting that little bit extra. There used to be a fish and chip shop down here at Ocean Grove that always threw in a handful of chips. Always made you feel special. Well done. Flake was well cooked and nice and moist, not dry. Spring roll was cooked to perfection and home made potato cakes, can’t beat that. And for any vegan/vegetarians out there, they had Beyond Meat Burgers, which are magnificent. Up until now, i hadn’t found any shops that sold them. Thoroughly recommend this fish and chip shop, well done."

"Absolutely fabulous fish and chips. We arrived in Colac in the evening on Boxing Day and thought nothing would be open. Thrilled to find that Marina seafood was. Probably the best Baramundi we've ever had in a fish shop, so fresh and tasty. Crunchy scallops and excellent chips and potato cakes too. And great staff. Fantastic."

"Extremely sucks. I ordered a dish of beef which cost 20 bucks and actually more than 75% of the meat is chicken gizzards and the rest of them is beef tendon, not even a peice of beef. I would like to leave zero sore for...the review. Finally, when I paid the dish, I found there are two versions of menu, and one of them is with almost double price than the another, and the one that the waiter gived to me is the doubled one. Over view, it is the worst dinner experience I have ever had before."

"We arrived into Austral looking for some lunch it seemed most places in Colac were closed at this time. It was and the lady at the bar told us the kitchen closed at (ie be quick) and there were others with table...numbers waiting for food. We took a quick look at the menu, had already seen it online, went to order to be told ‘no the kitchen is closed’... at on a Sunday. Very disappointing. It’s strange that pubs do this... is it hard to keep a small menu of burgers/parmas/chips etc on for a couple of hours until dinner service starts again apparently at Can anyone explain this logic?"

"Fantastic repurposing of the building it 's a pleasure just sitting inside. Outside seating available too. The range of food was really good not your usual 'Sydney Rd ' style of Turkish Restaurant. Different but authentic dishes made this a must visit when in the area. Worth a detour when near Colac. Great service and a good choice of wines, including some excellent local ones. "Although the food was very good, the service left a bit to be desired. Staff were courteous and friendly and the atmosphere of the place is lovely but the meals took well over an hour to be served from time ordered, in fact served just before afternoon tea time, and one meal forgotten and bought out as everyone else had almost finished. There were other customers arriving after us and receiving their meals before us. This put a dampener on the day as some had the long drive back to Melbourne and had to rush off."
