"We have been here a couple times. The food is great but you come for the rough sea atmosphere. Apparently, it is always busy. You wait in a line to order your food and find a table to sit. Each food item ordered came in it's own container. There is a strong fish smell and if one of the boats takes off, you have a diesel smell. We looked forward to coming back. It is a unique, casual experience. You just have to know what you are going to. It is a dock experience with wildlife, picnic tables and a few boats. Again, very popular."

"I never had a bad meal in this place. Great food, beautiful waterfront setting, great service, cheap prices. The Ahi tuna salad is my favorite food. The Oyster Sampler is an excellent way to sample all three of the fresh broiled oyster options. I tried several other menu items and they were all very good."

"I don't care what you order at Cortez kitchen the food is absolutely wonderful. The best hamburger I have ever had anywhere and I've been many places for hamburgers. Is their seafood platter is fabulous. And their blackened Mai mai is superb. Add to that great music on Friday Saturday and Sunday Cortez kitchen cannot be beat."

"We decided to visit Cortez and came to the Swordfish Grill for lunch on Thursday. We would normally sit outside on the water but it was too windy so we asked to be seated inside. Even though the restaurant was busy we were served verry efficiently. The service was warm and friendly and we had a very pleasant time. For lunch we both ordered one of the lunch specials The Grouper sandwich which we had blackened (they offer 3 options for how it is served). Our fish was cooked perfectly and served with French fries and coleslaw. The French fries were way above those that are normally found on most restraints. You need to try them. We drop in whenever we are in the area. You will enjoy the experience."
