"4.5. I took away here tonight. was 5 out of 5. pizza probably the best I had in years thin crust amazing taste and texture but was not cut properly so lost a few decimals for it and I had the prawn cocktail and the sauce was not mixed so only half the garnels were saucy and not the salat was. but his probably best meal I had one."

"Came tonight for a family meal for my father's birthday restaurant was great, waiter was nice, he ensured that everything was right and brought drinks eating fast! eating was nice! we all really enjoyed it. the chorizo in zidersoße was one of the best I ever had. we are coming back! many thanks"

"We visited the restaurant as part of the Love Darlington restaurant week for an early evening meal. We both had the Calamari starter and thoroughly enjoyed it, the mains were tasty and the only slight criticism would be that the rare steak I ordered was “medium”, but nonetheless was still tasty and offered excellent value. Our waitress was very polite and friendly making an enjoyable dining experience."

"Came for a bite during a shopping trip. Partners calzone was so big it turned heads lol! And it was awesome. Youngest had carbonara which she enjoyed. I had a Parma pasta combo. My Parmo was really really good and I love the chips. I didn’t enjoy the pasta as much as last time, it was very peppery (I’ve had it better before) I still enjoyed it. Our starters were good too. Just take care with understanding the specials, I’d misunderstood that my starter was not included whilst the others at the table were. When I questioned the bill at the end I was met with real attitude. Comments such as well the order is clear, if you were unsure you should have asked, really aren’t helpful when I didn’t know at the time I’d misunderstood the offer. I did not appreciate the comment, well it’s on £1.25 (Or so) different when actually it was nearer £5. This just put a bit of a dampener on our experience, there was no need to be so rude."

"The old Yard Tapas Bar has separate vegan menus for tapas options and lunch options. I had the Beetroot Salat, Patatas aioli and Boorekakia. The Patatas was delicious and the salad was good, was not sharp on the Boorekakia, as it was very cheese heavy and I am not a fan of vegan cheese. The staff was friendly, the building could do with something Tlc and does not smell good."

"First visit tonight and and it will surely be the first of many. Without a doubt the best pizza dough! Such kind guys and really know what they're doing. One of the highlights was the special Dumfries pizza. Who knew haggis was what a pizza has always wanted? Arancini was better than we've had in Italy and the hand cut chips were perfectly done. Mafioso and Neapolitan pizzas were stunning and had high quality ingredients that complimented each other well. Top marks for a great meal!"
