"Been coming here over 6 years when living in Cornelius. Live in South Park now but still make the trip up, but after this last experience, may not return. We were greeted promptly but seated near the bar when the dining area was mostly empty. We asked to move with no problem. Our first disappointment came when our favorite wine was sold out, then found out the eggplant entree was sold out!!! An italian establishment that runs out of eggplant??? I ordered the chicken parm which had very runny marinara sauce with what seemed to be rigatonis that were cut in half and horribly overcooked. It took several requests to receive bread. We had a very apologetic and cheerful and helpful server. Needless to say we did not bother to order dessert."

"I finally checked Mestizo. I give them 5 stars because they are very courteous and do their best to make your culinary experience great. I had no chance to take photos. My mother-in-law was with me and she's not in taking photos. We shared a Steak Fajitas enjoyed the mild salsa with the chips. The manager wanted to say hello. She was so sweet. I'm back. I want to try more dishes. Update: Stop on 22. July for a late dinner after a movie in Birkdale. Connor, our server, was great! Beautiful outdoor seating! I love how you can be here in the heart of Downtown DAVIDSON. Beautiful environment, great atmosphere."
