"Ok, but a quite underwhelmed. We had been planning to visit for some time and did so on Saturday night with another couple. The service was impeccable. Really friendly attentive staff. Sadly the food, in my opinion was average. I had the prawns to start, two had calamari and one had the mushrooms. The mushrooms was the best dish by far. For mains, the two guys had the veal, my friend had spaghetti carbonara and I had the butternut risotto. The spaghetti was fabulous, the veal was ok, the risotto was dry, bland and had so much sage in it I could not eat it at all. My friends all tried it too and agreed it was awful. They did reduce the price of the item by half as a gesture, but was disappointed and hungry when I left. Not one for us I’m afraid. The restaurant was busy and plenty of people having a great time, so must have just been an off night for us."

"My son moved into the village around the start of COVID and we dropped in the night before lockdown. Not a fair time to judge anywhere. So at first opportunity four us booked and early Saturday meal. Attentive staff, good selection, good value, served hot...and clean /pleasant surroundings. The operation has changed hands we understand from Inga, who served us and is a part of the management team. A character and good fun she is. Good luck with the venture,new would certainly come back and would recommend."

"A delicious meal and friendly staff. We visit Italy a lot and can honestly say the food is as good. We had the fritto Misto and arranchini followed by the spaghetti vongole and filled ravioli with a side of courgette fritti. The tiramisu was delicious and a lovely end to a good meal. I’m embarrassed that we forgot to leave a tip as my husband thought I said I had paid it with the food. We will be back."
