"This is my go to sushi place in Escondido. It's so consistently fresh and has been for a long time. Their lunch specials are generous and service is always good. Ambiance is welcoming. "We went for dinner with some friends. Ambiance and severs were very welcoming and friendly. After we were served water, they brought out garlic rolls- and they were delicious! For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari- it was outstanding! Crispy and the sauce was on point! Tangy and tasty! Once the entree's were served- we all started eating- and they all looked and smelled delicious. I had the black ink risotto with shrimp with a lobster sauce- it was exquisite!"

"I had some mixed feelings about this place? Pros: Beautiful ambience, friendly staff and delicious appetizers with good portions. Result: 4 out of 5. Negative: But (and a big but), not impressed by their entrées at all. Summary of our orders and impressions: 1) Shrimp salad package: a little dry and too spicy for us limit of expectations: 3 out of 5 2) BLT sandwich: marginal 3 out of 5 3) steak: bottom expectations? I hadn't expected my bet to be served with Pommes (where I suspect it would come with potato magic)? felt like street food not a stylish restaurant (I'm sorry to say that) meat was not very tasty and a bit chewing and not really medium-hearted that I ordered (a bit overcooked); Quality: below average in my opinion score: 2 out of 5 overall I would give this place 3 stars. It has some good rooms to improve"

"I forgot to take pictures of our food but, my aunts got fish tacos that they really liked. I got the garlic grilled seafood plate, it was pretty good. Will definitely be back to try more plates. My michelada was small but pretty good."

"Accessibility: the parking lot was very busy, even on a Wednesday night around 7:30 PM. There are a few accessible/disabled parking spots available but you end up having to go around other cars in the parking lot to get to the ramp then go up the sidewalk toward the entrance. The door to enter is a pull/push door. It is very well lit inside and low tables with movable chairs if you are in a wheelchair or other. Experience: it's really cute inside and very well lit. The Teriyaki Chicken with Jasmine Rice and Vegetables was very good."
