"Was my second night of thinning, the staff is friendly and since we had no reservation, we were quick to sit. I had the reserve ribs, 9 of them, with wedge and a beautiful koleslaw, I confess, of the 9 evening big riders, I have made 4 but I have eaten 80% of the koleslaw. the harbour view is beautiful, and yes, I am back tomorrow. will also share photos of the first night"

"I had made a booking for 5.45, and on arrival the waitress proceeded to seat us between a heap of other small tables, in close confines, to other diners, which wasn't ideal. We politely declined and found our own table. After a shaky start, with a glass of sparkling wine, in which an already opened bottle was emptied into my glass and topped up with a fresh bottle, not ideal either. We ordered the scotch fillet and the Works burger, accompanied by cheesy garlic bread. The steak was excellent, cooked exactly as requested and the works burger had all the goods, with a good balanced home made pattie. Garlic bread was also really good. <br/>Have eaten here many times and the food is always above average for a family pub. The service is friendly, if only a little of the pace. <br/>Highly recommended."

"I could give 10 stars to Bushmere Arms if I could. The last time I went to BA was in 2002 and left the place just as impressed as I did in Dec, 2017. You know when the managers of a restaurant have made an effort for their guests. The gardens surrounding the restaurant are a joy to walk in. Roses, lilies, fruit bearing trees, fountains, arched hedges, sculptures it is really like the Garden of Eden. Food is delectable. It is awarded for beef and lamb but as a vegetarian, I was not let down whatsoever. Mushroom ravioli came in parcels wrapped like candies. Tomatoes were so sweet, they actually tasted like candies. Carrot and ginger soup I could have had vats of it and never be satisfied. Then came lemon surprise the most sublime creation that ended the dinner in the most memorable way. I had to choose between at least 6 other puddings and I can assure you my other guests' tummies too were humming in perfect harmony. The only downside is the wait but it is EVERY bit worth it. There are very few restaurants where the Chef has been around long and the management takes pride in making the place as beautiful. It is absolutely the most exquisite restaurant I have ever been to."
