"Honestly the best customer service ever, tastiest food, I always get the steak sandwich and it never disappoints. I would recommend taking your family and friends here and kids as the desserts are massive and unreal. Great family environment we will be back for sure. Brad was amazing very attentive and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for having us."

"There is a lack of gourmet restaurants now in Gladstone since the Black Duck shut down, so we decided to try the Yacht club on a Saturday night. It wasn't as busy as it used to be, but the quality has if anything improved. There was a piano player and two singers who were not bad (one singer was a bit flat, but when she left, it was good). You order at the kitchen, and you get a number which you take to your table. I ordered the marinara, which was expensive, but well worth it. It included half a bug and everything was cooked perfectly. The Yacht Club is probably one of the better choices in Gladstone at the time of writing."

"Decided to test out Rocksalt for a brekky and dinner and had mixed results.Brekky was generous portions for eggs & toast, coffee was actually quite smooth and well prepared, would go back again for a coffee. Prices are a little more on the pricey side. Service was good, not exceptional always room to improve though. Dinner was disappointing. The salt & pepper calamari entree was quite tasty, well cooked and aioli had good flavour. Then the main came. Pork Belly. Was the worst pork Belly I've ever eaten. The veggies were done well, but the pork had good flavour bit fatty and not much meat. The crackling was like cardboard. No flavour whatsoever. And had no salt at the table to season. The service was some of the worst I've experienced. It was booked out-busy and to stand and wait for minutes on end to be seen by staff but not even acknowledged was disgraceful. Prices for meals are more so expensive than budget. Personally didn't feel this place provides good value for money overall."

"On the main street, in a semi-open space, I ordered a 10 yuan pizza night on the same day, which was very delicious, and the fried rice roll was okay! The restaurant atmosphere is very good, recommended"

"While most of the staff were in order and eating was reasonable, there was a young lady (long blonde haare,) who was all but openly hostile with my wife. that was a little more than just a bad day, I guess it was her. nothing was told or done to her than buying a Keno ticket. the meals were quite decent and came fast, and the younger girl who served them was quite pleasant, but this one lady at the bar went a little too far I feared. you do not see this kind of attitude so much in these days. she really radiated a mean and miserable atmosphere, and I guess she's unlikely to change. not a good strategy with the most tourists looking at online reviews! we are also native, and now we have tried to find the place that we would probably no longer disturb."

"Trendy local cafe with a steady clientele of mums with bubs, workers and general locals. Great deck over looking the East Shore parkland and Marina.Great menu for all tastes. The Gelaspresso bar very popular with the kids. I had the Herbivore salad with a veggie patty, which was very tasty."

"My sister and I had a great experience at The Old Bank Gladstone restaurant/cafe this week. Lovely homemade cheesecake and chocolate slice. Delightful hosts in Tania and Alan. Delicious food. Inside/outside dining right on the river. Tania even supplied a rug for us. Would highly recommend."

"Not a good time. ordered vego spring rolls that were cold. ordered chicken satay skewers the satay sauce tasted like water and crunchy peanut butter. the best tasting thing was the coronas we ordered. when we decided to pay for what we ordered and leave nobody asked if there was an issue with anything. the red walls had some sort of creamy residue on them, questionable."
