"Fagins diner is located in one of the most important roads in the old town hastings. we ordered pizzas (which were absolutely delicious) and the service was really fast and friendly. I would recommend it!"

"We enjoyed a fabulous meal on Friday evening. The food was absolutely superb. I had the delicious smoked haddock with spinach and samphire, my husband loved his Cornish monkfish and my cousins were very complimentary about the fish cakes and bartered cod. The staff were great, friendly the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We shall come again, thanks for a great evening, I hope we weren’t too loud!"

"This place serves the freshest fish you'll find anywhere; in fact my wife refuses to eat takeaway fish from any other source, because it just doesn't compare. All the ingredients are fresh every day, including the oil; you never get that old oil smell or taste in this establishment. Portions are generous keenly priced too, with a wide variety available on the menu. Do yourself a favour get your fish chips here, your taste buds will thank you!"

"Great Coffee. I am on holidays from interstate and went to Hastings twice in one week. The first time I was there I had coffee and morning tea, the coffee is excellent and their cake selection is to die for ....the service is very friendly and efficient. I was told the cafe is under new management and they seem to have things right... The second time I went, I took 3 friends and we had lunch. Once again the service was excellent, we had various dishes and everyone was impressed. I would especially recommend the vegetarian burger, apparently the calamari was excellent and two of the guests had the Beach Hut Burger and were very impressed. Thanks guys for a great holiday experience will definitely return. Good luck with your venture, you deserve it.."

"I sat here for my birthday meal and 5 friends. We were very welcome and had a fantastic service. We all loved our food (and plenty of wine and gin!! When the waiter found out that it was my birthday, he gave me a bottle of rose wine to go home. We were the last people in the restaurant, but didn't feel rushed to go. We were at 10.50 anyway. Really nice evening. I'm here several times, but not with a group of friends. We were checked to make sure we were all right and nothing was too much for the waiter.. He even agreed to a selfie with my friend!!!! Very pleasant night. Very recommend the falafel starter."
