"What would have been a great time spent at Zephyr was ruined by awful service. Our server condescended us for not warning her we were there for dessert and not a whole meal (seating issue). She gave us attitude but said “it’s fine as I’ve already set the table up for you” the table which had been set up since before we arrived. Sometimes good service is not what you say, but what you choose not to say. When I said I wouldn’t like to order drinks YET, she took the menu away and promptly walked off. The atmosphere was ruined as we felt that we weren’t wanted in the establishment. The dessert was great. Overall quality food ruined by a server/manager with a stick up their ."

"Had the vegan jackfruit burger which was okay. Thought the jackfruit would be hot though! Good to see they had a vegan option but it was a bit pricey and not that exciting. I think I'd just get the chips if I was going back here."

"Just had a very nice pizza, and lovely fresh tarakihi. bread and dips to start. good service, pleasant staff. unfortunately one of our group of three had to wait for his meal as when asked where his meal was the staff said the printer had missed of the tarakihi when the order went to the chef. didn't have to wait long for it once mistake was realised and staff were apologetic. 6.2.13. Wednesday night so not overly busy, can imagine its a good place for younger people at the end of the week. menu good for all types."

"It's meant to be pub food but really it was outstanding. We stumbled upon this cos we wanted to see the rugby . Pleasantly surprised. The fish was so fresh and well oresented. Lovely atmosphere. Just all round good. Worth a visit"
