"We didn't book and came across it one evening as we were looking for a restaurant for dinner. The service was nice and the setting was pretty, the outside tables are on a cobbled street with people passing by but it wasn't a very busy...one so it was ok. The food is a mix of Italian and Portugese tapas. The food was nice, there was plenty of it, and we enjoyed the wine as well. The pizzas are nice but not as big as you might expect, which works well when you want to mix it with some other tapas."

"An amazing location to sit and watch the harbour. eating is also very good, a mix of some local materials, including local seafood, with a bit of British influence from the owner. the service was excellent, and all small touches were pleasant. they added in a round table to accommodate all who wanted to eat. would definitely recommend for a relaxed, good meal."

"Fabulous food and service in relaxed location in old town . Located within the old city walls but on the edge of the busy centre. The best in town if you are looking for quality local food beautifully prepared and served . Perfect for couples and groups. The location is up a hill from the centre with interesting old town building and streets. Start from the Henry the Navigator statue heading in and bearing left up the hill. The menu has meat ,pasta and fish. They give you thoughtful toast olives pate and sardines while they prepare your food. Start with the fish soup for 5 euro! The local rose wine was quality. We had steak and fish sole. Top quality , hot with sauces. Perfect steak. Decorated plates. The deserts are freshly made. Tirimusu , rose jelly. The kitchen is open. The service is discrete and friendly. Don’t expect burgers!! The price was good for the quality of ingredients and fresh preparation. The whole experience was so good that we have booked again for our last night!"
