"My husband and I had a rare nights without the kids, and we both love sushi, so we decided to try Noku. We figured it was worth a shot because it gets generally good reviews and people seem to love it. We got there and it was smaller than I imagined it would be. But that didn 't turn out to be a problem. Intimate but also spacious. It worked. We had to wait about 15 minutes (got there at 7:15 on a Thursday of a holiday weekend) but that wasn 't too bad. Our waitress was very attentive and bubbly. We both decided to get the same thing, the spicy roll platter which comes with Miso and Salad. The platter includes spicy California roll, spicy salmon roll and spicy tuna roll. Admittedly we are pretty tame when it comes to sushi (spicy tuna is our favorite), but hey, we like what we like. The miso soup was really good and the salad wasn 't bad. The ginger dressing was very strong but also not too bad. Then came out the sushi. I can 't say I didn 't like it, but I was also underwhelmed. Sure, maybe I don 't know what good sushi is. But every piece had an overwhelming taste of ginger, or something bitter or burning. It 's tough to describe. The tuna and salmon were vibrant in color, bitch again, the taste just wasn 't my favorite. We can get those rolls elsewhere, and they taste better. I can 't complain about the price though. $24 for the soup, salad, and three, 8-piece rolls. Would I recommend this place? Probably. The staff, at least is great. And I am sure part of my issue is just not being a big sushi connoisseur. But hey, we like what we like."

"Lunch in the lounge with customers who buy at Arlington Ridge. No photos because I was too hungry to take the time. Home salad then Grilled Shrimp on Risotto with a very delicate lemon butter sauce. All right. Will definitely order it again. Also a person in our party had the same as me and the other had Portabella Gnocchi, which he really liked."

"Wegman's, quite the location for looking for auto parts and groceries, or whatever you want. But might I say Lucas Schriver, a cart assistant? He is quite the hoot! He gave me candies for free, he gave me an insight of his multiple accents, and he even gave me a bit of his local tongue, Danish. Lucas is quite the controversial young lad, he is a little too hyper (especially around me... ."

"Really like this place. For sitting there is a good mix of stands or tables. Server was friendly and prompt. The food is excellent. I had the Flounder dinner and I just loved it. Portion size was huge. All you can eat is a great value for just a few cents more than the regular dinner plate. Will definitely return!"

"Everything was spot on. Yes, they have a new owner, but it’s been almost a year that they have owned it. I know the new owner is Jamaican and I hope that hasn’t dissuaded people from coming to the restaurant because it’s Italian, but I don’t understand the negative comments that were given below. They have the same cooking staff that the previous owner had. All the food is being prepared the same way as it was, to the standards of the previous now the present owner Jackie. Our waitress, Natalie was great friendly accommodating to whatever our requests were. Jackie the owner came over to our table making sure everything was as we liked it. Cameron, who was not even our waiter, also came over several times to check on us. Go check out this restaurant and don’t be dissuaded by some of the reviews I for one will be back with friends to share in the positive experience!"
