"Beautiful midday Sunday lunch at Balmoral Beach. Popular spot and parking at a premium when the sun shines. Found a nice little Resturant on the esplanade and was able get a table with a view outside... I should mentioned the table we wanted was for a seating of 4. I was told if 4 people came in they'd have to move us (2). :( . We ordered chicken mango salad however they were out of mango so replaced with Pear ( we were told this so we were aware). Also a Linguini Marinara.. Being an Italian Resturant I felt safe! To drink we ordered a Sparking Rose ( by the glass) and a Breganze Pino Gri. Lovely wine but not chilled enough for a warm day. The chicken pear salad was heavy on salad leaves and very light on chicken .. For $26 you would expect more thank 1/2 a beast of chicken. It was also over cooked and dry. The linguini was very tasty with a very nice sauce. Seafood was prawns, fish and 4 in-shell mussels. The mussels unfortunately only just warm. We did give...

"I popped in to Mosman rowers Club last Sunday afternoon - a real hidden gem. The place isn't pretentious, the staff knew what they were doing. I tried the craft beers they had on tap and me and my mate shared a tasting plate - It was a good size for two and the variety was awesome. It was like 5 different tasty meals in one. <br>

Overall the beers are good - the staff were excellent and Ill be back for some more. <br>

"Taking my friend here for his BDay. This is the treasure of the marina overlooking the luxurious boats on the Wharf. The view at 6 pm until the end of our meal N drinks on the water was quiet and picturesque. We ordered the Calamari N shrimp, and that was a delicious appetizing start to dinner. The only retreat is that there were many more shrimp and not much calamari. For the mainly we ordered the lamb shoulder. OH. This lamb shoulder was sooooo delicious offer; Just the bone N on the subtle roasted flavors of the lamb. Grief
As a special Great, I asked her to bring a Tiramisu with a candle with a candle for my friend. Instead, they opened the Raspberry Pannacotta. I let it go because the guy insisted that we do not pay for it, and he sent two glasses of champagne for us! So sweet! <br>
We ordered two coffee and took the beautiful sunset before we walked along a light walk along the marina. Grief

"Spectacularly bad. <br>

This place was always good and so they have always gotten busy. In fact the food was good enough to warrant a 35-40 minute wait. We've had a few mediocre meals there in the past when they've been busy but this was the final straw. And this is my first restaurant review. Ever. <br>

It wasn't to be this time. After a 45 minute wait out on the street for Pad Thai, chicken and Cashew nuts, steamed rice and satay skewer entree, the order was just left on the counter. Another member of the public waiting for their takeaway came out and asked me what my name was and indeed it was mine. <br>

After getting it home the chicken skewers tasted more like curry, and it's not a good sign when you get your torch out to check the state of the meat. It was dry, tepid and gristly. The sauce tasted more curry than satay. <br>
<br>
There were practically no noodles in the pad Thai. The whole thing was greasy and tasteless. Obviously the bottom of the pan. Again loads of gristle in the meat. <br>

The chicken and cashew nuts were tasteless and probably one of the most oiliest dishes I've ever seen. A tablespoon would yield 90% oil and 10% of whatever it was supposed to be. Again cartilage and gristle. <br>

The steamed rice was good. But then I would at least expect this to be a fairly difficult dish to screw up. <br>

After arguing with my better half over who isn't going to eat the leftovers, we decided to throw it out.<br>
<br>
Won't eat there again. Save your money! Go to oodles of noodles instead!"

"My first experience and definitely not the last! We were received by staff and Manager, greeted by name which was a wonderful personal touch that carried throughout the evening to our departure. The ambience was great with soft music and a wonderful view of Middle Harbour outside the Marina surrounds.
