"Palermo's is the real deal if you want great Italian food on the Southside of Chicago. Their appetizers, the bruschetta and calamari are fantastic as are their main dishes. "It made a reservation for 8:15 and got no table until 8:45. We sat right next to a live performer, and they left my girlfriend and I to another table when we asked. The food and service were excellent. If I knew there was no live performance."

"Beautifully redecorated. Our server, Anna, was very welcoming and informative. The warm rolls were so delicious we kept picking at them all through dinner. Although the Reuben sandwich wasn't available that evening, we enjoyed both the cheeseburger and the ravioli. The French fries were really good, too. The wine is available in three different sized pours and was very good. Can't wait to return."

"The Chicken was undercooked and it turned my stomach. Could not eat after that. For the prices, I expect waaayy more. And what is with the flies and Justin B music. Kills the ambiance. Our server was divine and that is why the two stars. Will prob besick tonight."

"Delicious! I had the 10 ounces of chicken loaded with shrimp potato and soup! I had my food hot and ready on the table literally less than 15 minutes after the order! Food and service was definitely of quality! I'm glad I left a restaurant and came here. It was good to eat and service, I didn't have to wait long for someone to take my order and I didn't have to wait long for my food!"
