"Very friendly staff. The wait time was OK. The calamari was excellent and the lamb shanks were just like my mum use to make! No complaints and I will be back"

"Hardly any vegetarian options and nothing vegan unless you count creating your own meal with sides (at least on the Sunday brunch menu . Ended up having fries and a tiny French salad on the side (15$ . Also asked for a mojito specifically without the straw please. Got a sarcastic “oh we’re saving the turtles, ay?”. Ended up getting the mojito with not one but two straws. Guess if you don’t have any special requests this place is fine."

"I booked a table here for mother's day dinner for wifey.<br/ <br/ Service 4/5<br/ Food 3/5<br/ Ambience 5/5<br/ Price 4/5<br/ <br/ We were greeted by friendly staff who escorted us to the table. We instantly loved the ambience as it was true to its name homey.<br/ <br/ What we ordered:<br/ Gourmet beef burger with guacamole and beetroot patty was a bit dry<br/ Vegie lasagne massive slab of lasagne which I couldn't finish.<br/ Stuffed chicken breast wifey loved it<br/ Kid's fish and chips disappointed with the amount of fish (3 small nuggets) considering it was for $15<br/ <br/ Due perhaps to a very busy day, they ran out of some of the dishes that we initially picked. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience overall. Would come back again for sure.<br/"

"Don’t have much to say but a big fat WOW!!! Sister in-law rocks up out of the blues and picks me up for dinner. The Australian woman really knows her food right lol. My Steak Heaven I recall whispering to her. Every thing smelt and tasted so so so damn delicious. Highly recommended beside the five stars. Johnny’s Steak House...YES I will be back."

"Had a wonderful yummy quick service for dinner last night. Food and drinks were quick which was great as we pushing it to get to a movie. Salt and pepper calamari was the best I have had in a while, nice big plate full and the bruschetta was perfect. We will be back!"

"While the service is outstanding, it doesn't justify the over-the-top prices! My God! Auckland food can be pricey, but this one is just spooky. Everything is in tapas form (or tiny snack sizes) priced at $18-20 each. You need at least 2 such items to feed yourself. Most people would need 3 to be full. That's $60 for some side dishes. They say authentic Spanish food, but some of the items, like arancini, are Italian dishes, not Spanish. Not to mention, originally, tapas are served as free dishes with drinks in Spain. This is the opposite. If you have money to burn then go. But for the average person, this is where you go to sacrifice your wallet! The photos that others have posted with their reviews make the plates bigger than they are. Trust me."
