"Very authentic and very good sushi. I sat at the bar and spoke a little Japanese with the two chefs that seemed to really appreciate my effort, and they were very nice. I ordered the Sashimi Omakase and the Live Shrimp for a total of about $77. The fish was fresh and was structured as I expected the cuts. The Live Shrimp is definitely a unique element I haven't tried yet, and is something I recommend to the adventurous fooder. They get the bodies (the freshly slaughtered) on Nigiri reels and the heads are completely fried. I had sushi places fry fish bones after the court was completed, before, so it seemed quite normal. I ate the legs and the back, but decided to leave the heads because I was sure how I felt about them. I will visit Long Beach for work for the next time!"
