"Since it is summer, we stayed in her air-conditioned room to have lunch. We ordered sisig and sizzling squid. The sisig was microwave-like and the squid didn't sizzle. I enjoyed the homemade iced tea. I will try this place again. Maybe I have dinner here as this is when the place lives."

"Her siopao is good. the soup was amazing for me, I really like it. for the regular size is the toppings on the noodles the money in comparison to other noodle soups that I tried in antipolo worth. I like the idea to decide what kind of noodle I want for my meal."

"Visited this restaurant with my niece and nephew for dinner last Friday upon my niece's recommendation. The place is a typical resto bar, reminiscent of the glory days of the likes of Gerry's Grill and Dencio's and complete with live music. It is a hangout place for friends who simply want to chill. It seems small though for that purpose even with the mezzanine section. <br> <br> It was still early in the evening when we arrived. The place was only half full. We got a table in the mezzanine area. The atmosphere was initially relaxed, then it switched to lively and upbeat once the band started its first set. <br> <br> Being there before the house got full, we had the benefit of full attention. A staff was quick to provide us the menu and get ours orders. The kitchen was also as swift in churning our food. In a short time, there were food on our table. As soon as the place got packed, we noticed a slow down in service. The mezzanine section was somewhat disadvantaged because it... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"We had our family dinner there yesterday to celebrate my husband's nephew's birthday. My BILs chose Gerry's because we were a pretty large group and the dining area inside was large compared to other nearby restaurants in the area. And I tried that from what we ordered yesterday. <br> <br> Kare-kare I think it's flavorful as I didn't have to add a bagoong (which I don't eat). The vegetables were crispy too. <br> <br> Sizzling Beef Spare Ribs It took a while to serve, but it was good and tasty too. <br> <br> Pancit Canton I loved the way I can smell and taste sesame oil in their pancit! <br> <br> Toasted Ice Cream My daughter ordered this for dessert and I took a bite. It was okay with me, but what they used to wrap the ice cream was tasteless, maybe so as not to compete with the ice cream and whipped cream. <br> <br> The waiters were attentive and nice, even when my children used the restaurant as a playground. Although I had to ask them for extra paraphernalia (maybe ... <a class="read-more" href="#"> read more </a>"

"Ban Be Ca Phe is a Vietnamese-Filipino restaurant located at Upper Antipolo. This charming space is just a few meters shy from Robinson’s Antipolo and offers very affordable Vietnamese dishes. The cafe, technically, has three parts: a veranda, and inside a dining area at the right side and a traditional Vietnamese sitting area on the left side, which, in my opinion, gives so much Kumbaya vibes. LOL Kidding aside, I find the interior both creative and unique. I went here last May 27th with my mom to have lunch.<br> <br> I haven’t had breakfast yet when we got there, meaning, I haven’t had my morning fix. So the first thing I ordered is their signature Vietnamese iced milk coffee, otherwise known as Ca Phe Sua Da. It was served in a glass with a layer of condensed milk and topped with a classic Vietnamese tin coffee drip. You’d have to wait for the coffee to fully drain before pouring it in a taller glass with ice. It was both fun and delicious. Did I also mention that it only costs 65php? Oh, yes! It’s relatively cheaper than the other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to. My mom ordered a tall glass of Honeydew Lemonade which costs 85php. It was refreshing, according to her.<br> <br> Then we ordered a serving of Hu Tieu Xao which is a stir-fried noodle dish with a twist. Instead of vegetables and tofu, Ban Be Ca Phe’s version is pretty similar to a Filipino dish we are all familiar with. Generously topped with carrots, lettuce, onions, meat, and squid, this dish will totally remind you of a classic Pancit. It’s good and costs 110php. Not too bad, in my opinion, but I find it quite typical Filipino than Vietnamese.<br> <br> We also ordered Bun Thap Cam (150php), Goi Cuon (90php), and fried Goi Cuon — which could totally pass as Lumpiang Shanghai. Bun Thap Cam is a bed of vermicelli noodles topped with meat and vegetables. Ban Be’s version was a rice noodle base, topped with vegetables, tofu, meat, and peanuts which I find a lovely combination. Goi Cuon, also known as Vietnamese spring rolls, is well… spring rolls packed with vermicelli noodles, shrimp, and lettuce. Ban Be’s spring rolls are actually very delicious and satisfying, I highly recommend it. Oh, and yes, the fried version, which only costs 110php, was generously packed with vermicelli noodles, carrots, and ground meat. It’s addicting.<br> <br> Lastly, we tried both of their chicken (130php) and tofu sisig (100php), and I’m so glad we did. If you’re a fan of the dish, you should definitely try Ban Be’s sisigs. They’re not only reasonably priced and delicious but also generously portioned.<br> <br> I am more than satisfied to have dined here at Ban Be Ca Phe. Their food is delicious, I wouldn’t say exactly too authentic but each dish was done with a twist that makes it special. Not only that, their staff were really attentive and nice to us all throughout. This place is perfect for a lunch with family or friends, or to hang out in the evening with friends over a bucket of beers at their veranda."

"This restaurant has been in operation for about three months now .We had such a good time during our first try 2 weeks ago (May 2) that we decided to pay them another visit to see if what we have experienced is a fluke or...not. During our first try, we had: Nilagang Bulalo tasty! no additional condiment needed Kare Kare thick , yummy sauce (better than Marison's) Lumpiang Sariwa okay and Fried Chicken for the kids. The fried chicken was a hit with the kids we had to order them again during our subsequent visit. On our 2nd try , we decided to order the following: Chopseuy crisp veggies not overdone Fried Chicken (again) although this time the portions are a lot smaller but the kids still gobbled them up. Seafood Paella in Crispy Sotanghon tasty, fresh seafood , though I wish they have more of the paella sauce in it. but over all its still good. Baby Back Ribs (Medium Size) the serving was big and it was good..though a bit on the sweet side for me Lumpiang Sariwa as good as our first try Calamares very tasty, not bland at all For dessert, we tried the turon with ice cream . I find the turon too oily , I guess you better have your dessert somewhere else. They also offer a small bowl of crispy dilis for free which you can munch on while you wait for your order. The ambiance is relaxed casual dining. The price is reasonable . Ala carte orders are good for sharing. Service is fast and the staff is very attentive. I will definitely go back to this place. We have long been on the look out for a good local restaurant in the area aside from the more established ones like Crescent Moon and Vieux Chalet. Highly recommended for family/group meals."
