"This hotel is in the country and has great views of the fields in the front, and good parking. The staff were all friendly and helpful, although not to many around. This meant when you wanted some service you had to search for it. On our stay there were not to many people there. The whole place is typical of a Best Western, very average but you know it will not be a disaster. The food and service for the evening meal was good, the Calamari was excellent, my sirloin steak very chewy, not the best. Breakfast was great. Our room was functional, without being special. The room was up two flights of stairs, which is not the best when you are 81."

"Been here a few times now, and never had a bad visit.. also I went here for a staff Christmas party. The service was great. The food was delicious. The price is a bit more on the pricey side but it is worth every penny. I would definitely go back again, there is no other place in Dawlish like this. Worth a visit. Highly recommended!!!"

"I eat here regularly, and am always pleased with everything. The food is always of consistently high standard, as are the drinks. Nice coffees with different milk options. The staff are all friendly, helpful and understanding, and the owner is exceptional. Customer service top notch. Would recommend this place to everyone. Best place to eat and drink in Dawlish."

"Had never been before but the place was recommended to me . Absolutely perfect,friendly staff ,social distancing etc all observed . Chips lovely crispy without being dry .Fish has nice thin batter with big white fresh chunky flakes of fish . Reasonable prices to ,found...them to be cheaper than similar establishments."
