"Stopped in for a quick bite Friday night and as food came out super quick it was a very quick dinner. The service was friendly and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered a few shared dishes from a well thought out menu. The beef ribs were definitely the highlight and we were told its the house specialty. The pumpkin sounds great on the menu and the flavours work well but don't think it was cooked for long enough so didn't have the caramelisation the maple syrup should have brought to the dish. Instead it was watery and a little bland. The seafood stew was a little gluggy on top of the rice but had some nice flavours. The peas with feta and mint was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit and will return again especially for those ribs."

"Siam Thai bistro on Unley Road has been replaced by a new Chinese restaurant called 'Yue Chinese Restaurant '. There hasn 't been a lot of advertisement for this restaurant and it was only by chance that I drove past Unley Road to discover that it existed. The moment we walked into the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly owner. The menu consists of the dishes that you would normally see at a typical Chinese restaurant. In my personal opinion, there are probably only a handful of good Chinese restaurants in Adelaide. Yue Chinese restaurant has been added to my list today."

"Went to try out the new menu and try the fantastic desserts I had seen and heard reviews on facebook. The food, the atmosphere, the layout and the service were impeccable. The company also was friendly and welcoming thanks Chrissie and Dave. Fantastic relaxed environment with fast service with the food looking spectacular as if it was in a food cookbook! the chefs deserve rewards with presentation and taste and flair being exhibited on your plate. Reasonable prices also for what delights you receive. I certainly will be back and well worth a try out with family or friends or for a birthday or gathering on a sunday afternoon when acoustic sessions occur! great little find well done guys !!"

"Ducked in for a snack and coffee...but had a cold Peroni too on a very hot day. Very cool inside. Excellent friendly service. My BLT focaccia was a decent size and just what the doctor ordered. Good value too. I'll be back!"

"First impression was fantastic with the telephone welcome when ringing to book. Saturday night not packed when we arrive but quite busy later on. The welcome just as warm when we arrive. Big barn of a place. Nice fit out with acoustic panels hanging from the ceiling. Typical Vietnamese efficient staff. Menu a blend of East and West. Fully licensed and BYO. Drinks list fine and prices reasonable. Menu I thought was a little limited. Chose tofu skewers and s&p calamari as starters. Squid was the standout. Tiny little tendrils dusted with flour, salt and pepper fried to crisp perfection. Mains - the Boon and a claypot. Boon was tasty but too many noodles. Claypot beautiful.Overall a great place to eat made even better with super friendly staff"

"My husband brought me there for my birthday and I believe he couldn't choose a better place.I had the Caserecce di Pancetta and my husband had the Spaghetti al nero. Since we are Italian, (and my husband is a chef), we know how the pasta has to be cooked and that pasta was perfectly "al dente", full of flavour and every mouthful was just a pleasure to taste. We tried the Arancini and even if I don't like lamb, I ate it all, just beautiful. We had the Olives as well and I was surprised to taste such good "olive all'ascolana" in Australia, it reminded me home. The restaurant is cosy and warm, the waitresses were attentive, nice and friendly. A beautiful dining experience that I can't wait to repeat."

"We booked the restaurant as a treat with another couple to celebrate a birthday. They offered a special prawn entree which was 7 large crumbed prawns. We ordered 2 plates to share between the 4 of us along with the cheese garlic bread and this was well and truly enough and all agreed the prawns were tender and succulent. Again we shared the mains which consisted of the mixed grill platter for 2 which was plenty for the 4 of us as it came with a bowl of small roast potatoes and we ordered the grilled vegetable dish which again was on a special and more than enough to share. We had a bottle of Shiraz between the 4 of us and coffees at the end and we're all pleasantly surprised how reasonable the final cost turned out to be. The staff were very attentive and knew how to present the information on the food and wine. Would return again."
