"Tried La Famiglia last night in the gabba and this is one I would definitely return to! The food was delicious (hate that word but struggling to come up with anything better as a description , and really reasonably priced. Try the char grilled prawns, fabulous and the barramundi (fish of the day was wonderful. The olives were very moreish too. The service was 5 star, very attentive but not pushy and very friendly. Loved the restaurant manager and I take it, owner, lovely, warm person that made us feel very welcome (grazie mille : Only slight downfall was the food got cold quite quickly as we sat near a door but when mentioned to the manager, she said they were going to do something about this and the room temperature was great ie not stifling like a lot of places in winter. She also said she'd seat us somewhere else next time....and yes there definitely will be a next time. Really enjoyed the experience, 5 stars!! And gave Enotecca a run for their money as considerably cheaper and food just as good."

"Came here with entertainment book, yohoo another one in the city that I can use my book )here for lunch, and been seeing really popular for this place, we made a reservation beforehand. service was good, came several times before ordering food asking if we need any drinks. Food was amazing, just ordered the main for lunch, it was more than enough. <br/>personally, love what my friend was having hot garlic calamari scallops spaghetti. i love mine too, but his one looks amazing and he said it was good too. <br/>will wanna come back soon for a dinner."

"We have eaten here twice now and both times have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After booking online a couple of days ago we arrive and are shown to our table. The waitress hands us menus, drink list and tap water.<br>
After ordering our drinks and meals we enjoy looking at the artwork on the walls and the chefs preparing our food in the open plan kitchen. Our entrees arrive- olives and grissini , arancini balls with tomato relish and calamari with two sauces. These three dishes are delightful and team well with a glass of house sparkling. The dishes are cleared and soon after the mains are brought to our table - linguine with clams, white wine and chilli as well as the bresaola pizza with porcini mushrooms. Heaven! My linguine came with a bowl to place clam shells into as well as three slices of warm wood fired bread with which to soak up the juices from the pasta dish. Our meals arrived promptly and service was exemplary. We will return to try the sister restaurant housed in the same building- Chinese."

"Loved it! Food, location and service was all excellent!!!! My group each had a different main and we all agreed that it was delicious. We shared 2 desserts that were great too. We were well looked after by Leonardo and his lovely staff. Will definitely go back."

"Very pleasant local Italian restaurant. Warm seafood salad was excellent. Dining mates calzone was so big, heads turned as it was served. Being a calzone fan, he ate the lot and said it was one of the best he had had for a while. Good wine, good food - excellent value for very reasonable price. Marinara is now one of our favourite restaurants. Oh, and the staff were very pleasant."

"Family dinner here with 8 people. We all ordered different pizzas and ended up having to take some home. Flavours, ingredients and pizza bases were all great. Has been a while since I enjoyed a pizza so much. Staff are cheerful and very helpful when...describing the various dishes available, and food appeared without much delay. Seeing they have 2 dinner services I would presume they have a good reputation in the local area, and might need bookings. While not your typical italian restaraunt, and the décor is a little basic, I found very little I didnt like, and will return again."
