"My other coffee shop favorite in Caen. Special mention for homemade cheesecake with caramel appetizer, my favorite cheesecake (in the whole world). The coffees are very good (I am very happy to leave on a oat milk latte). Very friendly and welcoming team. Local and seasonal lunch with excellent value for money. "Unless you really have absolutely no idea of asian food, or are really truly utterly desperate for it, don't go!It wasn't just that the food wasn't authentic ( for example you can get excellent Pan Asian or Fusion food ), the dishes were just plain awful. The deep fried starters were greasy, and the steamed dim sum were just embarrassingly poorly excecuted. Instead of the usual lightness and succulence, the Har Gau and Siu Mai had thick casings and solid fillings. To make things worse, all the buffet items were luke warm to stone cold.Sushis were terrible as the rice wasn't made right. Too gluey with too much water and vinegar.And whatever you do, DON'T order cocktails. We asked for two mojitos, and we had no idea what they served us. We thought they gave us the wrong drink, but they confirmed a few times that they were indeed mojitos. I am pretty sure they had menthol in it???? Most disgusting mojito we have ever had.I tried hard to find something positive to say about this meal......but I struggle."

"Le Café Marcel est à découvrir : accueil et service sont très professionnels . Nous avons choisi un menu à 27 € qui s' est révélé de très bonne qualité . L' entrée avec foie gras chaud et salade est savoureuse de même que le trio de poissons au beurre blanc , choisi en plat principal . Concernant les desserts , le fondant au chocolat est délicieux , le tiramisu a été jugé plus commun par les autres convives .La cuisine est fine et le lieu agréable . Rapport qualité / prix excellent : une très bonne adresse dans le centre ville , à proximité des Rives de l' Orne ."
