"This restaurant belongs to the family who are not like colored people. We ordered family dinners. The two white families asked for us and served before us. They did not welcome us as anyone else. We didn't have the same treatment in the maid Marian Diner. I just don't understand why the treatment is different. I hate racism."

"My husband and I ate brunch here and were so impressed, we returned for dinner. I enjoyed the haddock sautéed in tomato butter with carrot and zucchini pasta in a sauce that was incredible. My husband loved his short ribs and lobster. Desert was equally perfect!! Caramel creme brûlée with milk chocolate gelato and apple fritter. Don't miss this place when in Charlottetown Great job Chef!!!"

"Were looking for a romantic place for our anniversary dinner on PEI. A well-respected chef recommended Chef Matt's Shaw's Restaurant. The place was charming and the food special. They have a tasting menu of five courses. Or...steak with one of the best potato sides I ever had. Halibut fresh from the water this morning. I hate lentils but his beluga lentils under his seared shrimp topped with a radish and sprouts - I scraped the bowl.Chef Matt takes pride in his place, the service, the farm-to-table and clean flavors of fresh ingredients!Yum!Great choice for your anniversary, birthday, or mid-week treat yourself date night."

"We had lunch at the little kitchen and we were not disappointed! The food was incredible and quite obviously homemade. The beef broth was the best I have ever had at any restaurant on or outside of PEI. The owner was so nice and recommended a great traditional egg white custard for dessert as well. We will definitely be going back. can't wait to try more dishes!"

"I ate at both locations of Stir It Up. I had a delicious smoked tofu sandwich at the kitchen in Founders Food Mall and a very yummy cookie bar at the Cafe on Queen Street. The staff at both locations were very friendly. You should definitely check out both spots if you find yourself in Charlottetown."

"Delightful morning outside, table service by the excellent Ryan, coffee, yogurt and fruit for my husband, a vegetable sandwich on focaccia for me, along with a flat white (for him) and dry cider (for me). A relaxing, pastoral setting for people of all ages, dogs, etc. Delish and just what we needed!"
