"Who cannot resist gelato? Strolled along the Quay area and decided even before lunch that this was our dessert. Oh Yum.....Lemon always a winner but tried 4 of the flavours as went back next day on our walk for another. Well worth the stop even...if it is not a hot day."

"What I've decided after quite a few attempts is that ...<br/ <br/ 1) I don't make a good salad;<br/ 2) Just because you like it doesn't mean it goes well together and<br/ C) I really really really don't make a good salad. <br/ <br/ Fortunately they do have prepared salads to take the guesswork out of things... I believe there are people out there more qualified than I in the fine art of veggie to protein balancing. When I come here for something healthy I will go the prepared salads in the giant bowls by the till. <br/ <br/ Along with the healthy stuff the do have the evil stuff which I truely felt like this afternoon when I had a sugar craving. I ate one of their giant caramel slices and I did so back at work with such guilty pleasure that I didn't end up sharing any with anyone else so sugar buzzed all afternoon and think I'm about to crash. Very sweet but I love my bricks of caramel that way."

"Very tasty and tasty dishes freshly prepared, varied options. Just a little disappointing that they offer to supplement the salads (which are otherwise all vegan) especially confusing as they had a vegan chicken sandwich. Fortunately 't get the chicken add up, although we first thought it was the vegan chicken. The only other non vegan item is that you can order cow milk in the drinks. The other branch is apparently 100% vegan"

"We went to watch the Essendon/Westcoast game on Sunday and booked for lunch at the Carvery, the cost was $65 per head for a 3 course buffet which included seafood. The seafood was fresh and the rest of what I had to eat was of a very good standard. I felt that the drinks were far too expensive. Management should take this on board and rethink their costings, especially when you pay $65 for the food!! Staff were very attentive and we had a great afternoon, especially my husband and brother, because Essendon won."
