"Nice bar, great ambiance and great service, great drinks. I wish we could have stayed but it was our anniversary and we wanted to go next door for a proper dinner not just bar food which we can have anytime but we will definitely come back. I ordered a caramel apple martini but the caramel was all over the glass and it got so sticky and gross but the drink was delicious, it must of been an oversight, I would have switched glasses."

"Stopped by the market today for other items and left with something extra: a brown butter caramel latte. Absolutely delicious. I'm a sucker for brown butter anything but this is one of the best coffees I've ever had great blend of flavors, with nothing overwhelming. Everything just came together perfectly. And everyone was so nice! Excited to go back. Everyone was talking about the smoothies."

"Good god. This place. We went in last weekend for Sunday brunch and I’ll preface my review by saying it was a gamble because it was my husbands birthday and in principal Cafe Mamo is everything he vehemently opposes in a restaurant. Tight parking, tiny dining room with communal banquette seating so close you can hear strangers chew, a curated menu with 5 things, the possibility of a gaping disparity in the price to portion ratio, and vibes. But alas, I trusted the reviews and my friends and we went and from the moment we walked in I knew it was the right choice. So cozy, intimate, yet comfortable, and everything from the napkins to the dinner plates is just understated and charming. Like a cliche conventional married couple we ordered the same gdamn thing biscuits and gravy and eggs over medium and they were ridiculous. The dish was heaping and plentiful and the biscuits had these little flavor pockets of pepper and salt. I was literally destroying my fresh mani tips running my fingers in the gravy when it was all over and DID NOT CARE who saw. Our server was so friendly and warm, and we had such a good time that after the bill came we stayed so I could tack on a child-free day buzz and ordered the aculpoco (sp). Even the ice cubes are beautiful and memorable here. Anyways, highly recommend. This is the best place we’ve been to in awhile, and we can’t wait to be back to check out their dinners."

"We had an amazing experience! There was a nearby table where a woman had a seizure, and the staff were on top of it. Calling 911, making sure the poor woman was safe, and still attending to the other patrons. You could tell that the episode weighed heavy on the hearts of the staff, and I was so touched by their compassion. Our dining experience was lovely. I ordered the fish and chips, classic, and the drink menu was stellar. Our waitress was wonderful, and kept checking back with us and grabbing anything we needed a lot of times without being asked. Thank you for everything, I will definitely be back! P.S., The Winnie Cooper was the BEST drink!"

"My wife and I try to stop in when we are in GR if time allows, because not only is the coffee outstanding, so is the service. The lady that works there is so sweet and accommodating, and the shop is clean and cozy. I found myself reading through thereviews because I was puzzled that they only get 3.7 stars, and as it turns out a good lot of them are complaints from peoplebuying something from the coffee shop next door then proceeding to use Local Mocha's outdoor tables, and being asked to sitelsewhere. Um, there are public benches literally about 8 feet away from their outdoor tables, so yeah, your complaints areinvalid. And as for the jerks who used Local Mocha's indoor trash to dispose of the other coffee shop's garbage: Again, publictrash cans 8feet away, and yes, it's extremely rude to do what you did. Folks, let me tell you, the majority of thesecomplaints are from over privileged whiners who get spend their lives waiting for something to get upset about. Don't listen tothem. Local Mocha is da bomb!"

"Love that they have vegan options just as good as full cream flavors. Loved both the lavender blueberry and the Cardomom orange blossom (both vegan) but the vanilla bean could be one of the best vanilla (not vegan) ice creams I had."
