"We had read great reviews of this restaurant and that was why we chose it. Also, it was featured for good seafood. While the wait staff and bartender were excellent, the food was very disappointing. My husband had tar tar for his starter and it was very good. My oysters had shell fragments. But the main disappointment was our octopus entre. The octopus was mushy and flavorless and the risotto was also mushy and overpowered by the tomato sauce used. To add insult to injury, an entire bus load of people arrived for a dinner party upstairs and the overwhelmed staff were running up and down the stairs to try to take care of them and to serve the patrons below. A very disappointing experience for our first night in La Rochelle when we had so many other options."

"An excellent late lunchtime. I had the chefs made to house burger, juicy fresh and served with excellent chips. my partner had the ozeansalat, excellent fresh and plentiful. my daughter had the moule with white wine sauce, also excellent. the personal was friendly and comfortable to use."
