"They advertise themselves as a bistro offering Italian fusion cuisine. I loved the variety of dishes available. I had their asian duck nachos which were to die for!My wife had the filet mignon topped with goat cheese and onions which was cooked to prefection according to her. She prefers her steak a little more cooked and i cant eat it that way so i didnt try it but she liked it.For dessert, it got real interesting. They have xango sushi which is a deep fried tortilla stuffed with dulce de leche and rolled in sugar and cinammon and if that isnt enough, they top it with caramel and chocolate sauce. The presentation is to die for! They serve it with a sushi spin, with a pistacchio paste representing your usual wasabi and pickled pears in a pink syrup and they are thinly sliced to look like the ginger you usually get with sushi. I was really impressed!Prices were reasonable as you can see the work that goes in the plates. Service was good as well. The manager looked a little overwhelmed but very eager to please. All in all an excellent evening out."

"Nous étions surpris de trouver ce très bon resto dans un coin tranquille de St-Dorothée, nous sommes allés parce que nous connaissions le lien entre ce resto et le resto "Lemeac", un de nos préféré à Montreal. Le service au Mitoyen était de grande classe par la serveuse qui nous a fait a chaque fois une belle description des plats ! Les entrées étaient succulentes ! Et notre plat principal " truite de la Bobbine" était superbe ! La terrasse nous a fait pensé a certains endroits en Europe, Dommage que le resto était si tranquille, ça manquait un peu d'ambiance ..."

"Loved the facility and atmosphere. the menu has a variety with classic French foods that they would find in paris. the service was top notch. eating was good, but not spectacular, but the price is right. if they are looking for a beautiful bistro, this is the place wein. is affordable, which is beautiful."

"We went for an early dinner Friday night. We waited a few minutes for the hostess, even longer for our waitress to come over and take our order. We had an order of chicken with rice and vegetables. Which came out quickly. I had the...salad bar. The salad bar was fine, a good enough variety. The mixed salads like the pasta salad, was very bland but fine. We had the apple cake with caramel frosting which was very good.The service was very slow however and we had to hunt down the waitress for our bill after we waited quite awhile."

"It was simply sublime! We were a small group of 6, everything was prepared, nothing to do except to taste, tartare, fish cake, foie gras, carpaccio, salmon half-cuit and then I go for a treat with a veal jam and finish this wonderful meal with chocolate mellows with caramel flower of salt......FANTASTIQUE!Thank you jérôme!"

"What a cool place! There are 2 soft serve flavors as well as 2 dipping options that seem to possibly alternate new flavors. The strawberry is a sorbet and pairs really well with the hazelnut dip. Also tried the vanilla dipped in the chocolate the vanilla is so rich and creamy it’s amazing but it is too rich when you dip it in the chocolate. The dip itself is yummy but it’s very thick so it does get a little sickening after a while. The petite size is plenty big!"

"This was the last night of our holiday in Canada and we were really glad we had chosen L'Etoile de Tunis for our final meal. The six of us each enjoyed our choices. I particularly liked the desserts so much so that I ate two. The service was lovely and the final bill was very reasonable."
