"Out of the blue I started calling for Aristocrat's Chicken Barbecue late at night while waiting for my husband to come home. We checked the branches and their opening times and were surprised that they have 2 branches that are open 24 hours. One of them is in Jupiter Makati. <br>

Also found that they deliver! Yey! So I immediately called the Jupiter office but was sad because they said their shipment doesn't cover Bicutan Paranaque ????. So my husband and I decided to have a midnight snack and head to the branch instead. <br>

On arrival parking wasn't a big problem as they allow double parking and only call us if the car is already leaving in front of us. There was a smell of rubbish outside the restaurant and the table we were sitting at was very close to the table so we can still smell the bad smell from outside. <br>

I ordered their sotanghon soup for P70, it's very good as I expected, good for only 1 serving. Then we ordered their full pork ribs and 3 pieces of grill chicken ...

"When I just want to have a quick coffee break, but then the line at Starbucks is just so long, I go just one floor up to buy in Java man. I always order Iced Latte or Iced Americano, you can ask for them to make it sweet if you don't like super bitter coffees. They also have sandwiches, I always order egg sandwich because it tastes good. They also have few pastries but I'm not a fan."

"After a fantastic lunch or dinner from Your Local, a MUST go to Yardstick, which is right next door. A nice place to relax or study, or even for a little get-together with friends. I go to this cafe a lot for their great coffee and delicious pastries. I have never tried their meals but will definitely try their meals soon"

"We don't have to buy cupcakes as my mom and I love to bake. But it's just hard not to notice Vanilla Cupcake Bakery's dollhouse-style shop with lots of great-looking cupcakes. From chandeliers to dainty chairs to their pink blenders, Cath Kidston cutlery and pink refrigerator, I've been sold. ???? <br>

We ordered both milkshakes and two cupcakes, red velvet and salted caramel. I bake a lot of red velvet and for me the red velvet needs extra moisture (or maybe we just have an old batch ????). If you just see how the frosting was slightly yellow, there is too much sugar or butter. Cream cheese frosting should be a pure white color, like the one Laura Vitale should see. Salted caramel didn't affect me much. But in any case, her red velvet is better than Sonja's. <br>

I also ordered caramelized spam with rice and egg for my friend which is a huge regret and dissatisfaction! The spam they caramelized eventually got so hard and stuck on the plate. Fortunately, milkshakes taste okay and look sweet even in mason jars. <br>

"The first Toby's Estate branch (correct me if I'm wrong) and probably the best one. Every time I visit this branch, it gives me this homey vibe. I usually stay here around 2-3 hours because it's just so chill and cozy that I'm lazy to actually leave. It's a perfect place to study even tho it's always busy. Pair it up their awesome coffee and their famous buckys!"

"Very impressed with the level of service from this branch. I was simply browsing through their merchandise when someone was quick to assist. Upon ordering my drink the barista was all ears and was able to get my order in one go. The place is spacious, cool and fairly quiet. A nice place to hang out amd unwind. The Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew i ordered was also exceptional. Recommended."

"People are always looking for a nice steak to grill, but with beef prices rising it’s getting difficult to buy for a reasonable price. Typically a grilling steak is classified as the middle meats which includes loin and rib meat.<br>

I have to be honest regarding Tender Bob's meat; for many years I found it to be a dismal steakhouse, offering lackluster food. However, concluding that due to recent revamping and a renewed focus on the menu has resulted in a much improved enterprise. The USDA Prime Ribeye Steak is a massive hunk of USDA prime that literally dwarfs all the other meat offerings on their list. But while one might expect that this would result in the old quantity/quality trade off, the steak here is excellent, despite its size. So instead, I ordered the local tenderloin steak. It is every bit as good as their renowned porterhouse, with a hearty beef flavor and a wonderful dry age. The only objection I have is that they slice it and drown it in butter, the same technique they apply to the porterhouse. Frankly I have never understood the need to do this to steak, especially dry aged prime.<br>

Their US beef back ribs is so tender and flavorful with the mineral rich flavor that only dry aging can impart. The sliced ribs is served with a delicious smoky barbequed glaze, warm brown butter veggies and rice. You can actually choose your own sidings, depending on your preference.<br>

Steaks are a personal journey for me. It has always been a form of bonding between my Father & I - from a childhood of watching him pound fillet steaks to a pulp, to sampling beautifully aged porterhouse cuts, my Dad used to be amazed that there are some steaks which need no tenderising. Anyway, after this comeback of love-letter to steaks, I will need to recharge the protein batteries. Watch out for more beef posts from now on!<br>
