"Our taste buds have melted with happiness! Everything is fine, light, subtle, tasteful! from the little cream burnt with foie gras served in mouth amuse that is a real delight and opens the ball to desserts and especially the thousand strawberry leaves and its sorbet with basil, everything is perfect! the reception is both discreet and attentive. "This lunch was average. We had a scallop pastie with a salad as a starter, a grilled fillet of fresh cod with shredded vegetables and a crême brûlee for desserts. There was a lack of freshness in the salad and vegetables, which were pre-cooked as...well as the pastie. Service was a bit off-hand, but we had arrived a little late for lunch in this provincial town. The restaurant is small, but it was summer and we ate outside in the garden, which was nice. The house white was fine. When in Perigueux, you can find better"

"Thanks to online reviews we chose Coccette et Cie for a celebratory lunch. Absolutely perfect. It was a late lunch and we were a table of plus a baby, we phoned ahead to book a table. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or...helpful, service was excellent. Then we made our food choices and everyone loved what they had. Three courses and all of them delicious and excellent value for money. Well done to the staff you deserve your good reviews."

"I've read the negative reviews to date, but in our case our lunch today was superlative. About the only things in the negative reviews that strike any kind of chord are the comments on the sense of humour - or lack thereof - of Madame la serveuse, and on the decor, which is a bit of cottagey-cliché.The two waiters who saw to us were polite, unobtrusive and there exactly when needed. The maître at the caisse was very warm and endlessly apologetic when the crest card machine failed twice while we were paying.Our lunch, the menu de €19,90, was easily one of the best we have had in many trips to France. My wife's croustillante de Camembert was a large, very tasty salad and my moules au gratin was equally good. Me wife's plat, a pavé de saumon, may have been a rich overcooked, but that was counterbalanced by a mouth watering sauce. My confit de canard was exactly the way it should be: the flesh soft and succulent and the skin crisp and crackling, with no excess fat and no gristle at all. The dessert, a tarte au pommes accompanied by ice cream and a light crème, was delicious. I won't try to describe the different flavours and aromas that we truly enjoyed.All in all a five star food experience."
