"This has undoubtedly been one of the best kept secrets of the last 14 years an absolutely brilliant restaurant at an affordable price alas no more! Frank and Nadine have sold up after serious health problems for Frank meant he could no longer continue. The new owners have no interest in continuing in his style and after only 3 months have decided not even to open for Sunday lunch. This is now being run as a workers' cafe and not a superb one at that. There is NO CHOICE and further more be prepared to eat each course out of the same plate regardless of how much is left on your plate from the previous course. If you want a basic 4 course meal with wine then it is excellent value at 12 euros as long as you like the dishes on offer in our case croque monsieur followed by coquelet, cheese and desert. Perfectly OK but tinned veg (labelled legumes de jardin , plates left despite being full of leftovers, then plates removed whilst still eating cheese(! . A great personal sorrow for me and all my friends some of whom used to travel many many miles to eat here. Thanks Frank for the memories because that's all there is now"
