"So many excellent gelato places in Sydney and I think I’ve tried nearly all of them. For the first time I tried one of Gelato Messina’s selection. I was surprised that their Pistachio Praline was vanilla in colour not the usual pistachio colour. But I...went ahead and bought a scoop. No hint of pistachio, unless the sugary praline dumbs it down. Nice but not nice enough"

"Classified an Osteria (which in my limited experience is more of a rustic experience) this restaurant is a little more upmarket - the tier 2 offering of the sister restaurant at the other end of the 2nd floor in the strand arcade.You can go nuts with the menu and rack up a bill very quickly but you can also choose carefully to make it a great night out.I can recommend the pork gnocchi and the fungi risotto which were both great. The merengue cream did not have enough acid (there was only a whisk of the bitter marmalade around the plate to cut through the richness).Wine list is solid even if limited choice by the glass.The Strand is a gorgeous place for a restaurant.I would definitely go again."

"Amazing atmosphere close to darling harbour. The wagyu steak was perfect grilled and also the baramundi fish was delicious. The whiskey flight as a end if the dinner was an interesting idea."

"For the price we paid you would expect the steak to be perfect and the wait staff to come back and ask how everything is. Not here! But they did come back and say there was a problem after we paid. The problem being that...when we split the bill 3 ways, we had miscalculated and we had paid 70 cents short. Pretty pissed that we were never asked how the meal was and there was never a chance to rectify it and the 70 cents was requested. Again? Doubt it."

"Sydney Westfields food court has really nice places in there, one of them being Charlie & Co. <br>
I ordered the Southern Belle chicken burger with a side of sweet potato fries and the chunky tomato salsa. The chicken was grilled and cooked very well, it was not dry and had a lot of flavours as well as a spice hit. The meal was served in a huge portion and the tomato salsa was so good i ordered another one to put in inside my burger. It had a really nice sweet and citrusy taste, complimented the burger so well. <br>

Only downfall was, it was literally made from real tomato so i could not actually dip my sweet potato fries in it like i would with a normal sauce."

"On the hottest November day in Sydney history, I decided to stray away from my tried and trusted dessert bars and head to Bellingen Gelato. There was 21 flavours on rotation and most were quite conservative with the range focused heavily on sour fruits and nuts. <br/ <br/ I settled with sour cherry, salted caramel with peanut butter and macadamia with honey. In hindsight I probably should have gone with more sorbets as the sour notes really freshened up the palate on a warm night. The nut flavours melted with incredible speed but luckily weren't overly sweet. <br/ <br/ If you're ever stumped for choice, the storefront window showcases an array of accolades and their corresponding winning flavours. Seating is limited and parking even rarer. However, if you do manage to score an elusive spot, tickets are free for the first 30 minutes."
