"We sat outside on the veranda which was really nice, the staff who served us were so kind and sweet. I ordered the french toast for breakfast and it was amazing! I would suggest maybe taking the skin off the oranges though so its a bit easier to eat : The bear coffee's we had were so adorable and came with a shot to add in so you could really customize the drink on how strong you wanted it. Would definitely visit again :"

"Absolutely enjoyed this bar! Best bar in Wellington in my opinion after some bar hopping. Their cocktails are on point. I really enjoyed their salted caramel Russian cocktail. The atmosphere was good. We had a dj playing in the background but not so loud that we had to shout across the table. Just amazing. Would love to go back when I visit welly again."

"For a popular fast-food chain to have 3 plant-based burgers to choose from, including with vegan aioli, is pretty awesome. They also serve delicious kumara fries. A place like this makes everyone feel included and welcome. Highly recommend if you are after a quick, easy, delicious plant-based burger."

"Closest thing to authentic Mexican food you will get in Welly (for now??? . The owners are from Ensenada, Mexico instead of the faraway lands of Whakatane or Timaru. Definitely leans towards food on the northern side border food, but the soups especially are very good and flavoursome. Also the dudes pop the cap off your jarritos with a lighter from their pocket, so it's true authentic."

"I ordered char kuey teow (takeaway , my always go to option when I’m visiting. I think it was their last order before kitchen closes as I was not allowed to dine in. I specifically requested no pork, no lard, 100% halal please. Cashier even confirmed that with me before my payment. Got home and opened box, I didn’t notice it initially, as soon as I started to eat, I saw pork in there! (Total shock!!! And more and more pork in there, as well as lard! Seriously this is not acceptable, people don’t take pork for religious reason and you offer halal version for some of items on your menu to accommodate people’s diet requirements. I don’t see how I’m gonna visit again given this horrible experience I’ve had! You can’t expect people to open box to check if the order is right before they leave!"

"The Beijing has been a family favourite for a long time. The food and the service are usually supreme. Last night my brother and my mother and I went for dinner, while the food was amazing as per usual, the service was quite shocking. Our meals arrived promptly but the young waiter and waitress kept trying to take our plates and food away while we were still eating which we all found incredibly rude. Would be nice if they could be given some training on how to provide fast and efficient service without the rudeness. This was easy to forgive though because of how good the food was! Their duck pancakes and their Sichuan style beef are a must try."

"Went today for 1030am booking for mothers day. Highly recommend. Excellent food, bottomless filter coffee with cream. we had the best service from Akira, New staff member. Answered all our questions, efficient and always smiling. Thank you. Great tasty food."
