"What an awesome place this is! Not only a cool hip place, but Amber Ox provides customer service the way it used to be and should be! We happened upon it during the busy graduation weekend at William Mary. DJ was our server and he is why we give it 5 stars. Food and beer were amazing as expected, but we’ll be back because of the service for sure! Keep it up guys! DJ, thank you!!!"

"Was in your store yesterday, and I must say everything is absolutely delicious! I'm currently eating some of your sea salted caramel fudge. I do believe it's the best I've ever eaten! We had ice cream last night and it was awesome as well. Ecstatic your shop is open, as we will stop in every time we get to Williamsburg! Kudos to your staff also! All of the young employees were super friendly and very helpful. Very impressed!"

"The classic chocolate chip cookies are fantastic! You can taste the high quality ingredients, like vanilla extract. The owner Gina is very kind and knowledgeable. My purchase was $16.64 for 4 cookies, which works out to 4.16 each. Definitely more expensive, but I imagine that the store front rent is costly."

"The donuts are quite tasty and different than the typical donuts that you can find at Dunkin' or Duck. The cronuts are good and you should order these ahead so you don't miss them. Otherwise the star item are there fritters. While we got the apple, I'm sure the blueberry would be great too. Ordering online was easy and pick up at the store was a cinch. No curbside on the day we got there, but it also seems that they do Doordash as well. Coffee was ok according to the husband. Would get donuts here again."

"Loved the flavor profiles, however we are quite disappointed in how dense and somewhat dry the vanilla base cupcakes were. We got the Extraordinary, salted Carmel, bodacious Boston creme and the curious coconut cupcakes. The Extraordinary was the best, the cake was moist and not heavy/dense. The others well the batter they use for the cupcake was very dense and kind of dry, while the filling of coconut cupcake was amazing it could have used more filling. The salted caramel"
