"The Museum Cafe is in a new location from the one shown in the current photo. It is a larger seating area as well as more food service space. The food is very good and price wise in line with other local places we visited. The Club sandwich is very good, generous in size (we now split it just ask for an extra plate). The hot dogs are large. Cookies OK. The issue is the time it takes. Part of our group hit the line at 11:45 with a half dozen in front of us and the time was reasonable. They do not do any cooking some heating but mainly just getting it out. But just two staff working today and they were working hard, but.... Since three of our party had chosen to attend a presentation near the Capital and would be late arriving . After finishing my lunch I got a place in line at 12:30 and thought it would be OK. They arrived and one took my spot they got their food at 1:10! Not complicated a yogurt, mac and cheese and a club sandwich. Looking at the line my guess some had almost an hour to wait. The problem is your limited options which are mainly going to Merchants square and that will take just as long! My advice is arrive early prior to noon! Or eat late!"

"The Crab Cake Benedict is as scrumptious as it is beautiful, the soft cinnamon waffle was savory beyond imagination, and some delicious coffee. This place is an absolute must-try that I would frequent if I were a local. The shop is a little small with outdoor seating, but the staff really keeps the flow of service gentle and fluid."

"These donuts are SO GOOD!! We got there shortly after 6am, and I was blown away by the variety and the staff member that helped us was so sweet and helpful. I ended up ordering a whole dozen knowing dang well I had no business ordering that many, but I wanted to try as many as I could! The PB&J was probably my favorite, but there was not a single donut in the box that I did not like. Also ordered a vanilla Iced Coffee and it was delicious and refreshing... just what I needed"

"I remember coming to Google trying to find a good baker in Newport News. My regular baker lost her touch and was never on time with my orders. I didn’t want to go across the water and the other bakers were out of my price range. I wanted a professional who could bring my dream to life but I didn’t want to go broke at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, I will pay for a good cake but some of these bakers are probably celebrity bakers and your girl isn’t on that level yet. The reviews for Ms. Tawanda were mixed and once I reached out to her and she told me her price I thought, she is so affordable... there is no way these cakes are going to be good. However, she was so nice and something in my spirit just said give her a try. I am soooo glad I did! The 2 cakes she did for me were absolutely stunning! The designs came out better than the pictures I provided. Not only did they look good... they were delicious!! Did I tell you that I am picky when it comes to cakes! My mother was a cake baker and decorator for years, so you have to come with that A game to impress me!! I am so happy I discovered her. When in the 757 she is my new go to! I am just so thankful for amazing quality and service at an affordable price."
